Re: OoA

It all depends on what you like: puzzles or combat.
I agree with you, but I won"t say, that OoS was mediocre.

Re: OoA

On this one, I'd have to say I agree with what you said; I couldn't put Ages down after about the 3rd or 4th dungeon, but Seasons I'm still working on (slowly...).

Doesn't hurt Ages that it has a better story than Seasons. And a much, much, MUCH better villain! Veran >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Onox!

Sorry, but you know it's true. Not to spoil anything, but Veran actually interacts quite a bit with Labrynna, while Onox holes himself up in his castle all game after kidnapping Din.

(To himself: All hail Veran!)

Yeah, Veran is better character-wise. Onox is the cliche "kidnap girl, go home, and wait for hero to arrive" villian.

I do like OoS better, though. Partly because of the cape and slingshot, and partly because fighting>puzzles imo.

I liked ooa because it really slapped you in the face having all the puzzles in there and all the time turning (which i thought was pretty cool). But i liked onox better because he was a dragon in disguise (which personaly i thought was pretty cool also)

Re: OoA

I'm a puzzle fan so I definately liked Ages better. Well that and changing times is way cooler than shifting seasons. If you play them together you get one huge game. Its probably the biggest zelda.

Re: OoA

I like both games equally, although if I have to choose I would to say I liked OoS better because the Subrosian sort of ruined OoA for me.

Subrosians were in Seasons. How did they ruin Ages? Unless you think Subrosians are cool, and like Seasons more because of them.

Re: OoA

I agree, at least in terms of plot and characters, Ages was far superior to Seasons--indeed, it has one of the best plots among the 2D Zelda games. That's about it, though. Gameplay-wise, I didn't care for Ages too much; it was too irksome and aggravating. Even the mini-games sucked (Goron Dance anyone??). The bosses were lame compared to Seasons, the latter of which revived the Zelda 1 bosses but gave them new tricks. And musically, I think Ages is the worst title in the series--a series that otherwise boasts phenomenal musical scores.
