Main Linking/Return Linking
In the back of my guidebook for OoS and OoA, in the descriptions of a couple of the rings, it says "(Main Linking)", and "(Return Linking)." Also, there is a code that starts a "Linked Game." What do these things mean? Do you get extra items or anything in a linked game, or with main or return linking? Are these things any different from the actual game? Oh, and exactly how do you 'return' or 'main link?' Thanks,

When you beat your game (OoA or OoS) you will get a code. When you start a new file in the other game you can say that it is linked you then enter the code. When you do this you start off with a sword and the story progresses. Also people will mvoe from one game to the next. You can also transfer rings form one game to the next by talking to one of the snakes in Vasu's shop. thats what those are for. (the squares at the back of the booklet are for you to enter the code you get when you beat the game.)

And after you finish both games, you will get a code. Make sure you linked one to the other. The secret linked quest will allow you to face off against Ganon.

At the end of a secret game file you get a code if you use the code to start a file on the opposite game its called return linking. On the return linked file you start like a regular game except you get 4 heart contianers and you start off with a ring in your inventory and you don't get the friendship ring (the ring is called victory ring-sign of defeating ganon, it doesn't do anything) also there is a triforce symbol next to the file. You can link back and forth as many times as you want I did it so many times I got a picture of link playing the harp of ages next to the triforce
 , its pretty cool.:cool:
