Re: Should i get the Oracle games?

Definately. The oracle games are the best of the series. They actually different from the rest. They have the same feel, but they were very refreshing when they came out. So yes.

Re: Should i get the Oracle games?

Well, the games are linked by a password system: the very first game you play will be the first chronologicly. I'd suggest you get Oracle of Seasons first, it's much more challenging and imaginative, not to say that OOA isn't, though.

Re: Should i get the Oracle games?

One starts in the evening the other in the morning.

Some people put them on opposite sides of the split.

but really the games are simultaneous.

One thing you need to understand: THERE IS NO REAL OFFICIAL TIMELINE

well...there really is no way to figure out which game comes first in the timeline...but if u're looking for more actiony type of a zelda handheld game i would get Oracle Of Seasons...if you want more puzzle type of a zelda handhelf game I would get Oracle Of Ages.

Seasons did feel more real and authentic, so I'd get it.

I liked ages best. Get them both! They are both great! You should also play the other Zelda games you have not played. They are all great.

Re: Should i get the Oracle games?

And my vote goes to getting Ages first, unless you're one of those "Save the best for last" types, heh heh. But, seriously though, Ages is thought by many to be more difficult overall, but the bosses (including the final boss, I'm afraid...) are a mite easier than the ones in Seasons. Much of the difficulty of Ages comes from the puzzles; it's a bit easier to beat Ages first, so that you can have better equipment for Seasons. Also, Ages is better. Nuff said.

Get them both. You should be able to find them for a low price at a used game store. Also, I suggest you have 2 gameboys for the linked game.

Heck yea get them. And if you do get both to play the "whole" game. Because you need both to face Ganon.

Re: Should i get the Oracle games?

I would not reccomend getting OoS OR OoA at all. I bought them both around 2002, and I was majorly disappointed not only by how boring these games were compared to all the other games in the Zelda franchise, but also by their poor production values and ho-hum storylines. If you want a good handheld Zelda, pick up Link's awakening, or The Minish Cap, or A Link to the Past/Four Swords instead.

Re: Should i get the Oracle games?

How can you not like the Oracle games? They are probably two of the best handheld Zelda games. It's probably one of the hardest Zelda games to complete 100% because of all of the rings to get, but that is still really fun, especially the transformation rings.

I recommend Seasons myself. Havn't played much of Ages but Seasons seemed to be alot more fun!!!

The rings were my favorite part of the games. They created many more opportunities in gameplay, and I loved trying to get all of them!

Re: Should i get the Oracle games?

If you can find these games still, I highly recommend picking them up just to have them on hand. They are some of the best!
