biggoron sword (ooa/s)

i played through OOS first and am playing the linked OOA game. i just acquired the master sword in OOA and i also have the secret for the biggoron sword. i noticed when i received the biggoron sword in OOS, my level three master sword dropped down to a level 2 noble sword

my question is then, is there any point cashing in the biggoron secret at the expense of my L3 sword in OOA? are they specific uses for the biggoron sword in that game (i've just entered zora village) aside from looking cool and impressing the natives

if this is a totally dumb question please feel free to hurl insults

Yes!!! in the village the sword is useful, after that you get the secret of 3 rare weapons.

Hm, I don't remember that getting the Biggoron Sword made my Master Sword revert to Noble Sword... o.o;;

But generally speaking, the Biggoron Sword's more powerful, and has longer reach. I +think+ that it's also effective on one of the final boss's forms.

NO, you can have both Master sword and big gorons sword,.. I personal thinks the goron sword is nice to use in the second last bettle (not veran, Sorry, I wont say who it is to spoil it for you )

Can you switch from different swords in this game? Damn.. if that is, just like in OOT, I have to play this one again

I haven't played it in a while but I think you can change the two swords. The only thing is the Borgon sword takes up both item slots.

Yeah, but you can't use Noble Sword, then Switch to Master Sword for example.

Neither is necessary--I've defeated Ganon without them before. However, you will find the Biggoron Sword very helful in the Twinrova battle (when she turns to ice, whack her with it several times at just the right moment, and you get a free hit). But the Master Sword is very helpful as well, particularly in the battle with Ganon (as well as Onox/Veran, depending on which game you linked from), in which only spin attacks can deal damage if you're not using the Master Sword (which does four times as much damage as the sword the game starts with). I think.

That never happened to me, I still have a Master Sword and a Biggoron Sword... and just about everything else too.

Wow, I never even knew you could get those swords in those games. I used to have a player's guide for them, and it never even mentioned being able to get the Master Sword.
