Old game characters in LttP

On friday at about 8 my dad came back from his buisness trip and... he got me LttP. I'm trying to get the book of memora. But when i was playing this lady keeps on saying. Guards it link anyone help. And she runs in her house. So i couldnt get into her house. So i snuck around her and went in... and there was a picture of mario. Weird. I went out side again and the lady who keeps on shouting was mario's old girlfriend daisy. Im sure people have found this out. Are there any other weird things in LttP???

She turns into daisy? Weird, I never knew that.........

No she doesnt turn into daisy. She is daisy. But i only recognized her after i saw the mario photo.

Uh let's see I think that there are also alot of other pictures of Mario. At the end of the game though, there is an extra challenge that you can have these little statues. One is of you, Zelda, and a chicken. It's Peach not daisy. Daisy is Luigi's Girlfriends, I think.

NO, NO, NO- the princess n Mario games USED to be called Daisy, but now it's Peach, so Nintendo are just playing on that, saying that she used to be Mario's girlfriend.

Maybe there is an untold connection between The Legend of Zelda and Super Mario?

I mean someone had to fix the plumbing around there right?
Also his picture was in Ocarina of Time before you talk to Zelda ...maybe Daisy (or Peach) referred good ol' Mario to Hyrule.

Hmm..never heard that b4....ive got to check it out i think. BTW Daisy and Peach are two totally different characters....Daisy is a brunette and Peach is a blonde.

Yeah. And Marios older Girlfriend use to be called Pauline. True. i got the Donkey game. On Gameboy.

Mario's girlfriend was Pauline. But they must have broken up. Princess Peach was introduced before Daisy. Princess Peach is princess of The Mushroom Kingdom. She and Mario kind of have a thing for eachother. Daisy is the Princess of Sarasland. She and Luigi have a thing for each other. I need to check that out in ALttP.

Sorry. I havent heard of that. But i dont really pay much attenion to things that happen in mario games.

Sarasland was the place you are in, in Super Mario Land on the gameboy. Those games seem to be not as popular as the others.

No thats The Mushroom Kingdom. Anyway this is getting off topic. And I chacked the game out. There is a girl with the same dress and all. So I guess it is her.

Ok. Now im really confused about the lands. But thats off topic. In another zelda game. There are references to Mario. And in LttP. Some of the monsters in turtle rock. Look like rip offs from mario.

Wait, Daisy is in "Sarasland"? Wasn't the old guy in LTTP named Sarasla? Another connection pehaps.
