I Let the Poor Old Man Die! (Waaa!)

I just got done playing the Minish Cap for the first time. As usual, when I get close to the end of a new game, I go to GameFAQs.com to look-up special guides and secrets. So a few days ago, I learned about the special items, the Magical Bomerang, the Remote Bombs (love them!), and , of course the Light Arrows. By then, I figured out, it was too late to get the "light of justice that will smite evil". True, it's not needed in this game, but it was disappointing. What's even worse is the fact that I fused the proper Kinstones to get to the house in the sky and cure the old man of the evil spirit, well before I got there later. I hadn't realized that I could suck it up the spirit using the Gust Jar.

And what does this have to do with the old man dying? Does he actually die? I don't think so. Doesn't he just get better on his own? Well, yeah, it's an easy thing to forget about. Just try to remember it next time, I guess.

I think he dies because he nowhere to be found once you get there later.

Maybe he went on vacation? Just guessing...

Nah, even if you just joking.

Think about it. The family was all worried about him, and they couldn't figure out what was wrong. They didn't even know that he wasn't really sick, but plagued by an evil spirit.

Besides, do you honestly think a man of his age could survive being attacked by an evil spirit without help?

Well, the game was meant for younger players, so I didn't think they'd have the guy die. But, whatever. I don't really care.

Because it was meant for younger gamers, the fact that the man died was never emphasised.

Let's see one moment he was sick and the next moment he's gone. Hmm... where else could he have gone? Not everything in zelda games are just point blank.

That's the annoying thing about TMC, how you can actually miss the chance to get something. Most Zelda games are designed so you always have a chance to get 100%.

Whatever, I got everything the first time anyway. That's how I play Zelda. Sidequests are priority.

I suggest playing the GC version first... if you can handle the wait.
Why do you want your first experience with TP to be a mirrored one?
The GC version is superior overall - admit it.

I think it's better like that. It makes the game more challenging and less giving.
