Light Arrows

Is there any difference between regular and light arrows in Minish Cap? I beat the game and then started a new one JUST to get the light arrows cause in the Wind Waker, OoT, and MM they were really awsome. Am I missing something or is it just a disappointment?

Re: Light Arrows

Well, if you load a Light Arrow into the bow and continue holding down the button until the light plays along to the arrowtip and stays there (oh, whatever. I can't explain it. Just wait for a bit), then release the arrow when it's been charged up and it'll kill most enemies (Gibdos, Dark Nuts, and Chain Warriors [or whatever they're called] excepted).

Re: Light Arrows

A light arrow will kill any enemy, except for bosses, in one hit.

It will also cut down anything your sword can and keep flying.

Re: Light Arrows

If you want to get 100% on the game go for thr light arrows, if not i wouldn't waste my time. I almost never use the light arrows. (Takes too long to charge it)

Sure, Light arrows are more powerful and kill bigger baddies faster. Use em on big enemies. They are the best arrows in the whole game. Kill some big enemies with em and you will see!

Re: Light Arrows

The thing I didn't like about the Light Arrow in TMC was that it shoudn't of taken any amount of time for it to charge up. But then again that would be to easy if you could repetivly shoot an all-powerful weapon over and over again. Hell, just make a 2D version of Fierce Deity Link appear and play as that for a limitted time and then I would be happy. lol.

Re: Light Arrows

Meh, the light arrows have their usefulness, but they take awhile to charge up and by the time you have done that, the enemy has moved.

Re: Light Arrows

The light arrows. Get em, if your an archer like myslef, they can really prove usefull. And what others said about taking to long to load and by that time theve moved. You just have to be skilled with them.

Re: Light Arrows

No big deal. Just something to brag about and oh yeah they are also stronger. They didn't even need the light arrows in that game. Here I bring you all a Zelda Fact!: TMC is the only zelda game where the light arrows are mandatory use in order to complete the game.

Re: Light Arrows

I missed the Light Arrow the first time I played too. I even had a thread here about it for a time.

It depends on whether or not you what to get everything or not. Having the Light Arrow is fun, but not worth much from what I hear. Personally, I like getting everything, or at least most everything. When I play through TMC again I'm going to make sure I get the Light Arrow.

That depends on your definition of "Completing the game." If you mean beat the final boss, then no, they aren't necessary. How could they be, if its very possible (and very likely) to pass them up and never be able to get them again? But if you are referring to the 100% Completion Challenge, then yes, they are mandatory..
