vaati on fs and tmc

i don't know why but you know four swords carries on from the minish cap
vaati changes form coz first vaati is all golden arms in minish cap
and in four swords he has got wings on his arms instead
and not seen four swords adventure looks good
is there any explanation?

We he is the evil wiozard vaati. Because hes a wizard just like the big G man "Ganondorf: I would assume he can change form like he does. Vaati is a shape shifting kinda guy. Go figure. I wouldn't want people t remember be aftetr I got beaten down before so I would swich my looks up.

Vaati is the shiz. Most of my gallery here is of Vaati. < 3 Although, I wish the game was longer so he appeared more sinister in the Minish Cap. His human form was awsome and deserved a longer game.

honestly, i think vatti is a horrible villian. why is he a wind mage? if you ask me, there should have been 4 mages, one for each element. that would work, 4 links, 4 evil bad guys. I agree with the above post, vatti looked so much cooler and more sinister as a human form, he looked kinda emo tho, with the hair and all. by the way lugeasilver, i like ur avatar.

Yeah, hes not that intimidating looking like Majora or Ganon or even Dark Link. The reason being that he is not that intimidating of a villian is because we have all seen that Nintendo over uses the "Giant Eyeball" villian in Zelda games. And that is all Vaati is is a over rated giant eyeball thing. He doesn't even have that interesting of a background, in which TMC failed to exagerate highy on. (TMC was a great game by the way, it just didn't give Vaati that much credit as it could have.)

Yes, for an example of overuse of the "Gaint Eyeball", look in the dark world in aLttP - you have three bosses that are, essentiall, Giant Eyeballs. In tMC there's a lot of eyes too, look at Mazaal - eyes on his hands to hit, or the Gyorg pair - WAY too many eyes.
An tMC was a great game, it just needed more on Vaati in it.

the reason he wasn't that "intimidating" of a villain because TMC was a lighter game than most. Same reason most of the characters in WW were less "intimidating." darker games produce more "intimidating" villains.

I agree, and I'll use Veran from OoA for an example. Though I find human Vaati looking cooler, Veran was more intimidating than either Vaati or Onox. In OoA, you had more face time with Veran...you fought with her more than one occasion, and everytime she got stronger and stronger. In tMC you saw Vaati in the begining, see some cutscenes with him, and then fight him in the end. Not intimidating at all. The only intimidating things he did was change Hyrule Castle into his own domain, curse the princess, and take control over the King's body (something Veran has done with Queen Ambi).

While your point is equally valid and I agree with it, its not the same as what i was getting at. TMC was a cartoonish game, so its villains are going to be more cartoonish. A more realistic game, like TP or OoT, will have more realistic, and therefore darker and more intimidating villains. Although this doesn't hold true 100% of the time, it is a valid generalization, and the point I was trying to make. But BGS's point is very true too.

Veran was an awesome boss.

And I think they tried to make him look intimidating, what with the whole crazy eey and weird backgrounds in the last battle, but it just turned out freakish.
