link to the past - really stuck!!

Hello to all,

i am very stuck on a link to the past, on the advance- I got quite far but now have no idea what to do, i think i may have gone very very wrong somewhere!!

I defeated Agahnim in the light world and got transported to the pyramid of power int he dark world..........as far as i can remember i got bored trying to get something to happen in a maze thingy where i was supposed to meet a monkey according to a walk through i read in absoulte frustration!!

i have somehow ended up back at the mountain of something int he top left corner of the map, the place i defeted Agahnim in the first place. If i change to the dark world i cannot get off this mountain, but if i change to the light world i have no idea what to do next......

is there a complete zelda whizz out there that can put me out of my misery so to speak!!

Yep, I'm here. Say no more, as I am the Master of ALttP! Okay, now, you're at Death Mountain, right? Okay, when you start playing, just choose to start out at Link's house. (That is, assuming you stopped playing in the Light World.) Next, just go north to Hyrule Castle. Walk through the gate, and you will find yourself in the Dark World. Walk to the east (east is right, west is left, north is up, and south is down) until you get to the Palace of Darkness. (The place with the hedge maze) From there, I can't really explain it that much, so I'll just PM you a map sometime. Oh, and if you ever need help in the future, just post in the help thread that's stickied at the top, okay? It'll keep the mods from getting upset.

Oh I hated that mountain also...Since you’re supposed to go in the Dark World. Just use your mirror to transport to the Dark World, then save your game, then turn it off (or just quit). Turn it back on, then when the save menu appears, and it says, "Start from saved place", and "Start from Pyramid of Power. Just start from Pyramid of Power...And there you go. Now you’re not lost---Hope I helped ^_^.

Shouldn't this be in the Gameboy Zelda Help Thread...?

Well, I'm sure the mods will when they finally come along. Usually they would've smelled out an out of place thread like this to tear apart. They feed off of bad threads, you know. If there weren't new members (n00bs) then all the mods would die off. Hm... That might actually be pretty good. No more n00bs, no more mods. Everybody would be able to get along then! Well, I'm a bit of an idealist, so I doubt that's how things would happen. I'm sure the mods would start feeding off of other threads and then be even stricter on us. Well, whatever. Glad I helped you out!

Hey, Master, we were all n00bs at some point in our ZU history. Even the great e_alert was once a n00b (and you could tell. Have you ever looked through some of his earlier posts?). Granted, reading the rules would help with the problems, but you've got to learn firsthand what's legal and what's against the rules to really be able to improve. Don't be so hard on him. I'm sure he will learn.
