Use weapons 9999 times

I noticed when killing the four links in the secret dungeon in ALttP that it's listed how many times u used each weapon.

Does anything happen when I used every weapon 9999 times?

I don't think so. They usually just display this so you can say "LOL i used tha sword for a million times rofl lmao lol lol!!!!11!1!1shift+one"

But I don't know for sure.

No, nothing ever happens for that kinda thing in zelda games. Infact zelda games need better rewards for certian tasks, Like maby a mdeal system.

You got a ring in the Oracles for chopping down 1000 signs. Or was it just 100?

It's not like it did anything though. It would be cool if you got some kind of upgrade, but also kind of random.

Yes, something happens. It tells you that you swung your sword 9,999 times at the end of the game.

Then there's no reason to spend hours trying to use every item 9999 times and save that many times to...

You got a ring for destroying 100 signs, but if you kill 1000 enemies, you get a slayer's ring.

ya i got a slayers ring, it would be kool if u swung ur sword 9999 times and somehow the metal got warped and became longer!
