Zelda: Legend of the Four Swords

I was wondering if I should buy the zelda game involving four swords and multiplayer action for the gameboy advance, i wanna buy a game, but i don't wanna wast my money. what do you people think i should do? is the game any good? is it a challenge?

Well, the thing is that FS for GBA, is absoultly muliplayer only. Meaning you cannot play it without a freind have another ALttP/FS game as well. It is at a good price, but I suggest if you want a good Zelda game to get, Legend of Zelda: Minish Cap. This game has to be one of the best "Gameboy" Zelda game out there. That and LA/DX.

Oh also, the FS game is very short. It should only take a few hours or so to complete it. So, unless you have a frined that has FS as well, do not get this game (that is, if you haven't played ALttP yet...then get the game anyways, but like I said, I'd rather prefer MC).

Sorry .

FS means the Zelda game, "Four Swords".

ALttP means the Zelda game, "A Link to the Past" (Also Four Swords if it's the Gameboy version).

GBA (you proboaly knew this, just making sure) means, "Gameboy Advance".

LA/DX means the Zelda game, "Link's Awakening: Deluxe version" (meaning the GB Color version)

And MC means the Zelda game, "Minish Cap".

I belive that's all the abbreviations I gave. Sorry for the inconvenience.

If you own ALTTP on SNES, FS is hardly worth the money unless a friend of yours already has the cartridge and thus you can play together.

I just felt it was my obligation to say that this statement is not true... LA/DX was for Game Boy Color. Not Advance...

And I have yet to play the Multiplayer FS with anyone... I have played the one on Gamecube though...

Sorry. I sometimes get things mixed up with GBA games and GB Color games . Thanks for pointing that out for me. I'll go fix that.

Hardly worth the money? That's a load of bull! The remake of A Link to the Past was a great idea of Nintendo's! Tons of people out there never got to experience the joy of the original SNES version of A Link to the Past, and then Nintendo decided to work with Capcom again and remake the game for the Game Boy Advance. In my opinion, A Link to the Past is the greatest Zelda game of all time, it doesn't matter how you compare it to the other Zelda's, almost all of them owe some of their very existence to A Link to the Past. Besides, it's not the amount of play time that's important about Four Swords. As a multiplayer game, it's a really great game. The play mechanics are very good, it's got crisp graphics, and best of all, it cleverly combines cooperative and competitive gameplay. This game allows you to test your friendship with your friends. Not only do you have to learn to cope with each other wanting to explore a different way and grab every single Rupee and kill every single monster, but you also have to learn to work together. It's like I say, four Links are always better than one.

dark link, im with u on makin fs online. i wish nintendo would make a game like that, or any online zelda for that matter. i was actualy thinking about buying software and taking game desighning classes to make a kind of runescape based zelda like game. i no its weird right?

If nintendo made four swords online that would be awsome. Though they would need voice chat and what not to devise a stratigy. If they put it on the ds than that would get rid of any need for a gba or a nasty looking screen. The touch screen is for the normal world and the top is for caves. Anyways four sword for gamecube is definetly worht it. I really like when you could throw bandits in jail. And I did it all singel player so you don't need more people to have a good time.
