How to get BIG TIME rupees for the 10,000 rupee ring?

I'm going for the 10,000 rupee ring in OoA and OoS. Now, I now that if you get a ring in one game you can transfer to the other but being the completest that I am, I want to do everything that can be done in a game, and if I transfer the ring, it's still possible to be awarded it by Vasu, but he'll just tell you that you've got it already and give you 30 rupees... then it can't be done again, which is what I want, everything that can be done to be done!

So, I need to rack up rupees in both games - Ages is easy; the mine cart game, but to rack up rupees in the more bare Seasons has left me stuck, any ideas?

Dig a bunch of holes while wearing the joy ring that doubles Rupees. That's all I can tell you. Aren't there any games that you can play to rack up money? I haven't played the game for so long, so I don't know any.

Just dig a whole bunch of holes. That's all the advice anyone could give you, really. Like MoALttP said, wear a joy ring and dig holes. Alot. That's how I got mine.

I wear the Gold Joy Ring all of the time bar bosses, but it'll still take an ice age to get 10,000 that way.

it's not worth it, i got just about every single ring minus 10 that were impossible for me to get without buying additional hardware so i just randomly punched in codes until i got all of the rings. I got all of the rings that you can without cheating (i did the lava puzzle in the extra dungeon in ages, i did all the hard parts) and i had gotten those rings in a different account when i started a secrets game with the other cartridge so it isn't really cheating.

you dont have to use any kind of cheat device to get all the rings, you can get a password off of the net from someone that has completed the games with all the rings, and you simply enter this into your ooa/oos game.
