Different colored Links in The Minish Cap (I only just discovered this yesterday)
Note: This won't screw up your cartridge.

To do this its quite simple. Get Din's, Farore's, or Nayru's charm, and use it in a room that has flashing panels that let you split into more Links. Use the charm. After the charm has worn off, split into 2 or more different Links. When you split, you will be green but the other links will be the color of the charm that you used. It really doesn't do anything, just changes the color.

Alright fellers...

A Link into the past:

-Go into the light world and go where there is that fairy island (that fairy that boosts your maximum arrows and bombs for rupees) go south to the entrance, on the platform(be on the southern edge) after that call the bird with the flute (while calling you must jump into the water and do not move) when you see the bird coming to catch you, you face up and press A as the bird is nearly catching you. When you see the overworld, cancel, and the bird will drop you on mid-water mid-patform.

-Now there's where the glitch works. you can non-permanantly swim on the land (yes really), but you must be really careful because it lasts until you either want to jump into water or be harmed by any ennemy or fall into holes.

-Take note that this glitch can be easily done on shallow water (which means its alot easier) you just have to call that bird and face left then when the bird is near you you go in the water then when he drops you swin right and there you go.

-what makes it fun is that you can even swin into houses, caves and dungeons... take another note that you cannot use items(just like when you normally swim into water),you can dive still dive (your only way to dodge ennemy attacks and all.

-this glitch has been dicovered by my brother. It took me a couple of times to get it. I suggest you start with the shallow water.

-Anyway, you can say its pretty useless, but it's fun. No file damage. It's easy to get rid of it, remember, it lasts until you either want to jump into water or be harmed by any ennemy or fall into holes.

links awakening: bomb arrow trick
press the bomb and arrow button at the same time to project a bomb attached to an arrow, this is actually extremely useful on the 8th dungeon because there are some bombable walls that have lava in the way so you can't place a bomb there.... unless you have bomb arrows!
kill ghoma:
kill one of the spiders in the cat fishes meaw and leave the room, when you come back the spiders will be dead. You can also avoid the spiders all together and use the staircase before after your first battle with master stalfos.

Okay, here's another one for ALttP. Once you have the Pegasus Boots, walk toward a ledge. As soon as you reach the ledge, press R. You will end up jumping immediately without having to run in place. Is it useful? Not really, unless you're doing a speed run. Does it harm the game? Well, it does make it explode. (not really, absolutely harmless) I think it's a neat little trick, since it saves you time.

Yeah, that's a real problem for me. I hate how you have to sit in front of a ledge for a few seconds before you can jump off. Sooner or later it gets to the point where it would be quicker just to go around.

This isn't exactly a glitch, but in TMC, if you go to your bedroom in your house past the table into the down-left corner, Ezlo will suddenly speak up and say, "Hm? I detect a secret! You're hiding something, aren't you? Come on, show me!" or something like that. I have no idea what he is talking about. I tried everything from bombs to arrows but I couldn't find anything. And note that once you do this Ezlo won't say it again (unless you delete the save file but why would you do that?). Very odd. I don't think this does any damage to your save file or cartrage.

Maybe it's on the floor underneath your room. That would be right about the spot that the red rupee is hidden outside your front door. All you have to do is dig it up with the mole mitts. It's always there, so you can just get it over and over again.

Another one for tMC. Found this today, and it pissed me off because I was doing a practice run. You'll understand why once i've detailed it.

Well, from what I can tell, to perform the glitch you need to enter a stairway while a Gibdo is grabbing you. I'm not sure if it can be done with other relevant enemies, such as Wall/Foor Masters, but it happened to me with the Gibdo. Obviously, this can be done at several points in the Palace of Winds and Dark Hyrule Castle. For the record, it happened to me in the first Gibdo-room of the Palace of Winds.
Basically, the glitch will stop you from going up/down the stairs to the next floor. You'll walk on the stairs, make no mistake, but Link won't stop walking. Once he gets to the obvious end of the stairs, he will continue to walk at stair-speed in the direction you entered the stairs, off the screen and beyond. You can't pause, can't change direction, nothing. All you can do is turn the game off and redo the section. This is why it pissed me off. In speed runs you typically don't save. By the time you get to a late area like tha Palace of Winds, being forced to restart is no small thing. Especially when the run is going so well.
Obviously, this is a destructive glitch. Make sure you save the game right before trying this one, folks, just in case you do it right.

I actually found the glitch intriguing, though. As I indicated, I am speed running tMC, so I am instictively wondering if there is any way to manipulate this glitch, or do it elsewhere with similar-but-different circumstances. Skipping areas? Maybe. I dunno. I'll test it extensively, of course, as I always do with new finds, but I don't expect much. This just seems to be the type of glitch that does less than nothing, but it's cool to say that you've done it. But believe me when I say, it's cooler to say that you found it.

e_alert, you are awesome at Minish Cap. I watched your Big Green Chu Chu battle, and you are truly awesome. You fought at a marvelous level of perfection that I couldn't even do. You truly are amazing. I'd really like to see a video of one of your speed runs, if you don't mind.

-Start a new game and when you gain control of Link, DO NOT leave the house, but bring up the map and the map will be flashing on the very top-left hand corner, which IS NOT where you start.

In LA, when approaching a cliff, use roc's feather and you'll jump while in midair off the cliff. It doesn't do anything, but it's cool to see Link jump really high.

When you go to a fairy cave, use your pegasus boots to run to the pond. Keep pressing the button to which they are set and afterwards Link will keep on running without moving. You can also do this by digging a hole just before the pegasus boots activate. This qlitch is mentioned in the official player's guide by Nintendo as the 'exercising Link' glitch.

EXPLODING ARROWS?

i dont know if someone already posted this but there is a glitch that i found in LA...
get the Bow and arrow put it on either the A or B button. THen get bombs and put them on the opposite button then press both buttons at once and it looks like a bomb is on the arrow and when it hits something is explodes its pretty cool to and fun to hit the dog with

Link's Awakening glitch

In the first dungeon in Link's Awakening, (original version, not tried it on DX version) in the room before the boss, if you equip the Roc's feather and walk into the hole at the top left of the room and jump and press up just as the next screen appears, (one of the side-scrolling rooms) you should end up in a glitched version of the fourth dungeon. Navigating in here is difficult but if you manage to find and open a chest (any chest), you get the Power Bracelet and if you open any other chest, you'll get the improved Power Bracelet. I've never tried saving my game after doing this, so do so at your own risk!

EDIT: The hole to jump in isn't in the room before the boss, it's actually in the boss room, just realised.

I am rather surprised at the fact that no one has posted this extremely huge glitch, so i think ill do it. It's an ALTtP glitch and is called the death mountain descent (or DMD). in order to do this, you must have the ability to move ONE PIXEL NO MORE (well maybe about 2 pixels might do it ) So, anyway, first up, go to death mountain. Make sure you have the flippers and have not beaten the 3rd dungeon. you should also make sure you have the moon pearl. to start off, go to where the bridge in the light world is in the dark world. (The bridge wont be there in the dark worls but to weird army tank looking things will be) Second, move as close to the wall (between the two tanks things) as you can get. now, warp to the light world with the mirror and here comes the hard part, move ONE PIXEL to the right. an easy way to do this is to move and almost immediately push the bug catching net button. or something else that stops you moving, now just let the teleport drag you back to the dark world.... absorbing you... consuming.... let the darkness swallow you..... uh- wait. forget i said that, anyway, if you did it right you will be PARTIALY standing on the barrier. you wont be able to notice it though. (if you look hard enough you can notice it) Now press the mirror again to warp to the light world and walk as far to the right of the teleport as you can go while still being able to get sucked back in. the best way to do this is to walk right off it to the RIGHT not up, or down, or left but to the RIGHT and the RIGHT only. its not CRITICAL but it helps to be aligned. next, charge up your sword facing the right and slowly back into the teleport.... i cant stress this enough, you have to move extremely slowely so that the teleport sucks you in as soon as you touch it. *NOTE: YOU CANNOT GET SUCKED IN ON THE END PIXELS IF YOU JUST RUN AT IT, THIS IS WHY YOU MUST MOVE SLOWLY. now if you have done it right, the teleport will suck you back and you will be standing on top of the wall! from here, jump off into the void and move down to the bottom and go as far to the right as possible, now move down one more screen and jump to the left. if you have the flippers (which you should by the way) you can swim to the land in the dark world. congratulations! your in the dark world without the mastersword! amazing, no? from here, the graphics WILL be glitched but this can be easily fixed by warping to the light world and back again. From here you can go to the first level, get the hammer, leave, go to the second level, get the hookshot leave, go to the fourth level, get the gloves, leave, go to the area one screen below the village of outcasts (the place where kakariko is in the dark world) and go to the right. you should see a frog, if you do not see a frog traped behind some black skulls, then you should see a bull thing bashing an axe into the ground. if you talk to "It" it will tell you that if you find its brother and bring him back there, he will temper your sword.... sound familiar? Course it dose. its the pixie elf man from the sword tempering shop. and your in the wrong world! if your wandering what i mean by the "Wrong world" and you have played through this game before and know that the guy isnt there in the light world and you "know" that your in the dark world then im sure your wondering what i mean? what i mean is there is actualy three worlds. however the programmers didnt expect you to fins this mysterious third world and so didnt bother to fix the problem. im not sure exactly how the error occurs but i do know that you can get to this third world by dying in the dark world and continuing. all the third world is is a mixture of the light and dark worlds. the dark map, and the light music. but anyway, when you find the thing in the light-dark world use the mirror and guess what?! you will warp to the dark world! the REAL dark world. from here, the thing will have changed to the normal toad we all know and love (to lick ) simply walk up to the toad and talk to him and yadda yadda yadda, im sure you all know where to go from here.... anyway, get the red sword, go beat (as in, collect the crystal {yes its possible}) from dungeons 5 and 6 and get the super bomb. now go blow open the wall in the pyramid and get the golden sword! go back to the second level (or where ever you started to not kill the bosses) and give em a whoopin theyll never forget. the rest of the game should be a sinch now that you have the golden sword.

There is one small problem with that statement. This is the Game Boy Zelda section, not the NES/SNES Zelda section.

i know, its on the legend of zelda link to the past/four swords AND the snes version, so it therefore can be posted because it is possible to perform on the advance.

Hm... Beating ALttP without fighting Agahnim at Hyrule Castle... Perhaps this could somehow be useful in a run... Maybe not. I somewhat doubt that "third world" thing you said. The game is probably messing up due to something. Ah, of course. You haven't beaten Agahnim in Hyrule Castle, so the game's programming believes you are in the Light World so it plays the music from the Light World, but the game picked up you being in the Dark World so it generates the graphics for the Dark World. That's probably it. Anyways, thanks for the explanation of the trick. I'm going to go try it out now. And yes, I too am surprised nobody posted this one already.

I'm simply saying that the reason it wasn't here is simply because the game was made for the SNES.

No, you can't use it, not on SDA or TG. He has the glitch wrong, or more, he has the application of it wrong. Using the glitch, it's possible to finish the game in a few minutes. You can't use it because it's impossible to do without tool assistance.
