(^o^) Zelda Games (^o^)

I'm making a list with all the Zelda games, their release dates, countries and versions.
I'm having problems with the edition and reeditions of some games, for example, Link's Awakening, I know there are 2 versions the original for GB and the DX but it's not that simple I've found pictures that show different art boxes and different inserts of these two versions:



Or things like the Collector's Edition Versions of OoT and MM, is there a site that lists these diferences?

I think one is the Original one and the players choice type one with the little prize ribbon on it saying nintendo classic, theres no diffrence between the two its just one is a players choice one wich was re-released a few years after cheaper and the other is the original

Well, there is a main site attached to this forum and its URL is www.zeldauniverse.net If you wanna check it out, it has all the game info you need. But I wouldn't start copy/pasting info from it unless you ask Lars or give credit where it is due. Its a well kept site with alot of work put into it.

I checked the site, although it has a lot of info it's laking some things (like what I'm asking), don't worry I don't steal other people's contents.

notice that the "Nintendo Power Insert" also changes

Are ALL the images I posted from American releases of the games? I've seen the very first image on ebay from UK sellers (although the one I posted was from an US seller), I've seen the UK ones: the dx version is a black box, and the original version I've seen it in the regular golden box (like the first pic) and there is another with a red border around.

I checked some pictures of the back of the boxes from the first 2 pics I posted (in my first post) the one with the owl says 1996 and the other one says 1993.


I checked a back pic of the second one in this post: it says 1993, 1998

The boxart of my version of LA is black...
I didnt see the golden version anywhere else...

I belive yours is an european version, right?

just go to www.zelda.com all the release dates are there arnt they?

been there, done that... this is not about release dates, it's about of different box art in the same release. That's not listed anywhere I've been.

It's like the Player's Choice or Best Seller editions of the games, is the same box but they add those things, but there are no place where you can find when it was added.

By the way, apparently the dx versions (the holo and the silver) both have identical boxes the only thing that changes is the front, in the back they says Nintendo of America 1993, 1998. I'm not sure why they changed the front of the box though... anyone knows?
