The Sacrifice

When i beat OoS in the linked version zelda says that since she was not sacrifice but twinora he was only a mindless raging Ganon. This part confuses me so if zelda was sacrifice Ganon would have been stronger or something? If you don't understand what i mean please check out:

Well Twinrova's intentions were to sacrifice Din, Nayru, and Princess Zelda. However, since Link foiled her plans, she had to sacrifice General Onox, Veran, and herself instead. If Twinrova had of succeeded with capturing and sacrificing those three maidens, I'm assuming that Ganon would have been at 100%. Since Onox and Veran failed on their behalf, Twinrova tried to defeat Link so they could carry on with the sacrificial(sp?) ceremony so Ganon would have had Onox, Veran, and Princess Zelda (wild guess...possibly making him about 65%), but in the end, he got Twinrova's body (I'm guessing that just made him the raging lunatic that Link faught...so probably just 50%).

Since Princess Zelda holds the Triforce of Wisdom, who knows, if she was sacrificed to revive Ganon, probably he would hold two parts of the triforce (Power for his strength...which he had in the battle, but he was a raging lunatic because he didn't have Zelda as his sacrifice).

Does that all make sence?

Re: The Sacrifice

Actually, Din and Nayru were just tools. the only real 'sacrifice' was Zelda. Her life would be used to revive Ganon, but Link foiled Twinrova's plan, and instead they sacrificed themselves. Somehow this brought bak only the body of Ganon, not his mind (perhaps because they were not pure of heart?).

All broken and beaten and scarred,

It's the keeping-on-living that's hard."

Re: The Sacrifice

Because twinrova were not pure maidens Ganon could not be fully restored. All that returned was a mindless counciousless creture. It was basicaly an animal that looked like Ganon.

Re: The Sacrifice

Like what has already been said, twinrova was not pure so Ganon was not ressurected at 100%. I believe he still lived though and came back in LOZ (where he didn't seem all that smart)

900 posts, yay!
