Link's awakening DX hard to get?

Damn, i had to search long to get this game i searched over two years in all the store's i went for this game. I saw it everywhere on the web but i can't buy anything online from my parents. After two years i found it in my local videogame store offcourse it was used but it only cost me 10$! In all my joy i took this game home, smashed it in my gba and then realised it was the French edition... Well i'm proud to be able to say i finished it without a dictionary! And besides it's good for my French classes, now i know what a bow and a sword are called in French

Coincidentally mine just arrived today after I purchased it on eBay. Haven't had much of a chance to play on it because of college but I shall hopefully have a porper session later. (I now have all the Proper Zelda gems! Hurrah!).
It does seem to be quite rare, I have certainly never seen it in any game stores (at least not since I started looking).

Yeah, i know how hard it is to find Links Awakening DX. Took me 2 years to find a copy of it. Luckly, i found an english version of the game. I ain't lettin this one go easily.

I had the black&white gameboy poket LA for ages but just a coupla days ago i wanted to see what the DX one was like so i went out that day and bought one at a local game trade shop for £7. mabe it was just my lucky day

Well I got it for my B-day when it came out and my dad has the origanal version. I haven't beat it yet but I have cleared the color dungon.

I found mine out of luck really. I remember that my local GameStop shop was going to clean out it's supplies of NES, SNES, N64, GB, & GBC games and systems. I went in looking for the LA, and found the LADX. Sure the DX was $5 more (ripp-off) but it's well worth it being in my collection. Now all I need is tMC, Game & Watch GBA Gallery (they have the Game & Wach Zelda game in there) Zelda'05, and Four Swords DS.

Depends...are you looking for it on the internet or at a store? When it comes to games that you can trade in, I'd highly recomend GameStop, and then secondly (if they do it...some stores don't) Electronics Boutique. I've heard "Strawberries" does trade-ins, but I haven't been in one in ages so don't hold me to it if they do or don't.

ya had to go to that much trouble to get it.I got my copy from my cousin he gave it to me for my B-day!

My friend left thier copy at school back in the day and I snatched it up. I held on to it for a week to play it, as they didn't even miss it, then they stopped coming to school and I didn't know where they lived so I had no choice but to keep it.

Yay i just found oracle of ages! Though I didn't buy it since it was 30$! I guess i'm gonna have to wait until they drop the price.

It's more difficult finding it in mexico, it's really a headache. But I want it so bad!

but well... i havent even seen it buy avaible when someone else have had it before...so it have to be really hard to get^^

Come to think of it, I can barely remember how I got my DX. Im pretty sure I got it for one christmas or birthday long ago, yep, thats how.

Today I went to the mall to try to find tMC (FYI: No luck) and I was very surprized when I saw in the Used Games section of GameStop four copies of Link's Awakening (one of them was DX). So which one is it that's harder for us? Original or the DX version? (I still think it's DX because many people favor color).

Wow, my copy of Link Awakening DX was actually exetremely easy to find, here's how the story goes: When I was nine years old I ask my mom, "Mom can we go to walmart and buy the new version of the gameboy Zelda?" my mom said to me "Alright, I guess." and we went and bought the new Link's Awakening DX for 30$. Isn't that CRAZY!!!?

Why was it hard for you guys to find it? I was at GameStop the other day and they had it for 1$.
