Vote on how easy TMC was
Post thoughts reasons, and anything else about how easy TMC was.
I thought it was really easy, because you start off with 3 hearts, but each heart counts as 4, so you start out with 12 hearts. Not to mention only 5 dungeons, and they were pretty easy. The most challenging part of the game to me was the Kinfusion and Figurine sidequests.

Re: Vote on how easy TMC was
It was too easy. Far too easy. The dungeons were easy. The puzzles were easy. The enemies, even the last boss, were easy. The overworld was small, and easily traversed. Everything about this game was easy.

Re: Vote on how easy TMC was
It was too easy but that didn't make the game bad. It did have too few dungeons but that's all they could do with the storyline, collecting the 4 elements. Before I got the game I read in EGM that Vaati, the final boss, was the hardest final boss in Zelda history, he was so damn easy.
But sadly the Zelda games just keep getting easier and easier as the years go on, I'm hoping that TLoZ for GC won't be easy, I want a challenge.

i found the game just right, not too hard until the end but not too easy.

Re: Vote on how easy TMC was
Big huge collection quests do not equal true difficulty, they're just something to make the game longer. If anything, they're annoying. If you can't see the difference, then you need to go play Contra 3 or something.
I have played every Zelda game, with the exception of things like the Bandai Statellaview games, so yes, naturally I will find a game easier than someone who is playing a game for the first time. Even so, this game was easier than it should have been. I can replay the Oracles, or LttP, games which I have already played through and completed, and be more challenged than I was by the Minish Cap. I can't speak for those who used strategy guides, but as far as I'm concerned, they deserve to have the experience ruined for them.

I too, hope LoZ05 will be more difficult... perhaps for a change, difficulty levels... I could only hope Nintendo does something like this so ages of all kinds can play the game and not want to give up. |

Re: Vote on how easy TMC was
I blew through this game in a matter of hours... on my second quest.
The first time through I got almost everything I could before taking on Vaati. I didn't come close to "complete" death ever but at some parts I had trouble. Such as dealing with the ball and chain soilders. If I compared it to any of the other games on gameboy I would say that this one was the most fun but way to easy. |
