....the only way of cheating I can see is getting it via password (which would initially just transfer all the rings you had on one game to the other). To answer your question, yes I've found the Green Ring (and I get it quite often).

Now if you are trying to find some difficult rings to find I'd go hunting for these:
  • Power Ring Level 3 (found in a Linked Game's Hero Cave of OoS)
  • Armor Ring Level 3 (found in a Linked Game's Hero Cave of OoA)
  • Heart Ring Level 2 (One of my favorites...and one of the rarest)
  • Gold Joy Ring (Another one of my favorites, and one of the rarest)
  • First Gen Ring (one of the rarest)
  • Protect Ring

I've collected all the rings between both games, and boy was it hard. Since this is a thread about rings, I'll tell you the ones I like to have in my jewelry box all the time (If I remember correctly I have the Level 3 Ring Box which can hold 5 rings. You can get it via passwords):
  • Heart Ring Level 2
  • Gold Joy Ring
  • Zora Ring
  • Bomber's Ring
  • Rang Ring Level 2

Re: Has anyone found the green ring

I'm not sure I've ever gotten the green ring. Is it a combination of the red and blue ones?

You could say it's very much so like that. The "red ring" as you so called it is refered to as the Power Ring, and the "blue ring" is the Armor Ring. Power Ring increased your strenght, as well as your damage taken hits. Armor Ring just lower your damage taken points.

And when it comes to the Green Ring, it does indeed make a great combination of the two. This is what ZU had to say about it:

This is the best "well rounded" ring I would have to say. It doesn't have any negative side-effects.

Re: Has anyone found the green ring

i have all those ring (except first gen, i want that one as much as any other) i have both ages and season and just recently was playing seasons, the reason for me asking was i have been playing errr the file u get after u complete the linked game and using the gasha ring i have found very many rare rings i have never gotten before (this is like my 5th time playing) like the masters ring rang ring lvl 2 etc and i have begun to notice a pattern amonst tree (at least in seasons) the best results occur from the soil in the ancient ruins with the gasha ring, has anyone else noticed things like this, and if you have found the green ring do you remember what soil patch it was on

oh and BGS the method for cheating is taking your game password and editing it slightly such as the last few digits, in previous files i have done this but i have never gotten the green ring or first gen (i was about 4 short) this is pretty effective but it is still cheating so it really ruins the game.

Yes. Yes I have. If you plant a Gasha Seed someplace that is hard to get to/not that common of a place to go to, you will get rare rings and items (such as the piece of heart).

Hmmm I think I do. But like I said, I get the Green Ring a lot, but I usually get it in the same place: In OoA I get it from the little soil patch on Crescent Strait (if you don't know where it is, it's that little soil patch located in the far North East of the Island in the Present (it looks like it's on a little island of it's own).

Ah yes, the First Gen Ring. I remember where I found that. I found that (also in OoA) in Talus Peaks. There's a soil patch that's only reachable if you go to the past, stand in the right spot, then go back to the present. That's why that little spot is rare and gave me one of the coolest rings in the game.

Ok, good to know. If you are in dire need of the Green Ring and First Gen Ring, I'd try my methods. As you probably know, you can still transfer your rings via one of Vasu's snakes (I always forget if it's the Red one or the Blue one that you have to ask).

One more thing Vercoe, please do not double post

Ok, along the subject of Rings, there's something I've always wanted to see in the Oracle games. I wish the "Transformation Rings" had the same powers as the Masks you found in MM. Let me explain.

If you were wearing the ...:
Moblin Ring: You could communicate with other Moblins. Your weopons of choice would be a sword, sheild, and the Bow & Arrows (since these are the only enemies that have that). You'd get nasty remarks from the villagers (hey, you look like a Moblin, what else would you expect), and there could be a Side-Quest involving you going undercover as a Moblin and stopping the Moblin King's next plan.

Octo Ring: Communicate with other Octorcks, get nasty remarks from villagers, and be able to spit rocks!

Like-like Ring: Communicate with other Like-likes (they would give you helpful information like the Cuckmans did in LA), get nasty remarks from villagers, and able to steal one item from an enemy (you could steal a weopon it was holding or the item it would have dropped if you had killed it: like ruppess or a heart).

Subrosian Ring: Communicate with other Subrosians. Be able to swim in Lava. Get weird remarks from villagers (not from Subrosia). Have a new trading side-quest (since Subrosians like to collect and trade interesting objects). Have Rosa as your new girlfriend (I guess that could be an advantage...umm different remarks from neighboring Subrosians?)

First Gen Ring: Get different remarks from villagers. Have the items LoZ Link had.

How do you guys like those ideas

Re: Has anyone found the green ring

Thanks for the help BGS and i agree with you it is a pity they didn't do more with the changing rings, at least make it so you had the creatures abilities (fire rocks, swallow enemies shoot arrows, and errr............umm dance?) well at least it would be cool with the creatures.

Re: Has anyone found the green ring

yeah I wish you got powers from the "Transformation Rings", (or at least use your items) and on the ring subject a good ring to keep at all times is the First Gen Ring. Come on its funny looking at LoZ Link with gorons or zoras.

Can you still attack when using the First Gen ring?

Re: Has anyone found the green ring

Nope. I SO wish they would actually make the transformation rings more useful.

Anyway. About what BGS said about the blue/red rings. There actually is a blue ring/red ring. The blue ring raises your defense, without weakening your sword. The red ring makes your sword more powerful, without weakening your defense. So, the green ring is a combination of both.

Yes, but what I meant was so they would have something new to say. I think other Subrosians would react differently if you looked just like them. For example: The first time you go to Subrosia, you'll meet the first Subrosians. If you talk to them, they would make comments on your "weird" clothing. Now if you had the Subrosian Ring Equipted, then they would say something completely different like "How's your Ore Mining doin'?" or something like that.

Re: Has anyone found the green ring

Today I got the green ring AND the 1st gen ring both in Oos using tha gasha ring at the ancient ruins. I kept using the gasha ring at the ruins soil and got these results:

Dbl edge ring x3
Rang ring lv 2 x2
charge ring x3
bombproof ring x2
green ring
1st Gen ring
Masters ring

These are all fairly rare rings (some REALLY rare) and i am pretty sure that most are only available at this soil.

Comments anyone?

Re: Has anyone found the green ring

Although i just got it, it has taken me forever to get, and for such a powerful ring it seemed odd that it would be random.
