Do you find the Oracle games difficult?

I'm not sure if I'm just terrible at LoZ games, but Oracle of Ages is probably the second hardest to AoL in my opinion. I've gotten lost several times and I've had to use the walkthrough a pathetic amount of times.

So has anbody else had a lot of trouble in it? I'm considering not finishing it because I feel so pathetic. Part of it might be that I'm playing it on my phone, so the controls are bad, but the dungeons and finding out where to go are difficult.

Personally, I don't find them that difficult. Even my first playthrough of Ages didn't go horribly. ALTHOUGH getting the whatchamacallit Nut and climbing up Restoration Wall was a ♥♥♥♥♥ and getting to Level 5 was just as bad. But experiences differ with every gamer. DON'T GIVE UP though. I love Ages and it's always rewarding to finish a videogame.

i mean Ages, took a bit of thinking, but that was good!

I find them a tad bit difficult after playing Majora's Mask and Ocarina of Time, but after you get the hang of it, its perfectly normal gameplay.

There's your problem right there. It's meant for Gameboy or DS not the phone. But if this is your first time your bound to have trouble.

Medium difficulty. If I'm fooling around on a playthrough, I'll die 5 times or so.

Ages was quite easy except for the annoying little mandatory minigames. I found Link's Awakening more challenging.

Oracle of Ages can be tricky, especially the Goron Dance mini game or the cloud boss. Compared to Oracle of Seasons, which seems to be more combat focused, Ages relies a lot more on puzzles.

Ages was difficult, but not impossibly so. The puzzles in it are beyond epic. As with any Zelda game. Heh.

I have not finished Seasons yet. I beat level 6 a couple months ago, and have not picked it up again since for some reason.

I totally agree. OoA is the second hardest, next to ZII. It's just hard, I think it has something to do with the dungeon layout. The puzzles are just mind-boggling.

Not so much difficult as I find them to be frustrating and well, kinda boring. Not that they aren't good games in their own right, but they just never absorbed me the way other Zelda titles have. Ages is more difficult to me, but Seasons isn't super easy either. I think in a difficulty scale they would honestly fall right in the middle.

Ages was a lot harder than seasons, in difficulty I'd probably rate them a 7.

The games were really easy for me but I think the hardest of the two games for me was Oracle of Ages because of going back or forward in time.

I didn't find either game too difficult when I played them through the first time, but after years of not playing either and coming back to an old nearly completed file in OoA, I found it nearly impossible to pick up where I left off. Almost any other zelda game I would be able to complete mid-game, but OoA not so much.

Oracle of Season i loved it and Ages i threw it at a wall.. so effing difficult..

The final boss of Ages is a giant pile of stupid bull♥♥♥♥.

Still felt like a God when I beat her, though. That was the only really hard part, though. Whoever thought swimming should be handled by tapping in the direction you're swimming is nonsense though.

Whenever I play Ages, I rage quit lol. I don't know what I'm doing and I don't like googling what to do.
Seasons is a bit easier (since Seasons is more combat based and Ages is more puzzle based).

On a scale of 1 to 10 with 10 being impossible... I'd give Ages a 7.5 and Seasons a 5. But that's my personal opinion.

Seasons was definitely easier than Ages. I would say that OoS was pretty average difficulty when it comes to Zelda games.

Ages was really challenging. The world was huge (since it's two full sized and completely different maps), and the puzzles were complex. I always get stuck in the last dungeon.

Oh yes, I believe the difficulty of the Oracle games is much higher than most Zeldas. I remember not being able to beat Seasons for ages (awesome pun!) because I was stuck on a puzzle that would let me access the Ancient Ruins dungeon and get the Noble Sword. Although that was years ago when I was about 7 years old =P.

Anyways, I know that feeling why you want to give up because of horrible interface controls. I once had to give up playing Fire Emblem on my PC because I hated playing on the keyboard. Eventually I got a PSP and modded it so that it could emulate GBA games and it worked perfectly, I even imported the savedata from the PC to the PSP. I suggest you do the same if you can get your hands on a PSP. Great for emulating SNES, GBA and NES and many other classic systems.

Ages has the best puzzles the series has ever seen, so if you have trouble with the puzzles, I don't blame you. Combat was easy. Seasons, though, Seasons' combat was hard despite being the same as Ages, LA, etc. It was kinda more focused, in a way, and enemies actually dealt damage to you.
