The pokemon graphics are shit compared to the ones in R/B/Y. What exactly is it that you like about Green?

Some of the sprites are better than r/b's. I don't have time to give examples right now, but I can. Like the Nidos. The mystery and taboo-ness about it is also intriguing. Also getting to find glitches not present in R/B/Y is quite fun. It was well worth the $30 I paid to import it.

Okay, maybe some sprites do look better. I only checked the Nidos; I agree with you there, except for Nidoking(he looks MUCH more menacing in R/B/Y). I don't know what you mean by the "mystery and taboo-ness" part though.

I meant like that the specifics and details of the game are not known to the general Pokémon community. The dialogue is different, the in-game trades are different, and everybody thinks it's crap because they've only seen the sprites of the Pokémon.

Just read the text on the first page if that's all you care to read.

The game is the exact same as Red and Blue except that it's Japanese and the sprites are different.
Unless you understand Japanese, any versions of Pokemon Green you might have played were fan translated and probably do suck due to character limitation.

It's different, trust me. I have the original japanese one from 1995. Grey cartridge, green sticker. You'd have to play it.

You're right, it does- but, how do you have it? Do you have the Japanese version?

If you read one of my earlier posts, you would have seen that I had it imported from Japan. (box, case, manual, everything!) It's the original Japanese game you would have seen om Japanese store shelves in 1996.

But I'd still pick LttP, or even Black, over it.

If you're talking about the whole Pokemon series.... no, definitely not.

If you're talking about just R/B/G/Y, then yes.

Both are good games, though I would highly recommend ALLTP. That one is very fun and has countless amounts of replay value. Pokemon Red is a good game, but after you've done it once, there's no real point to restarting just to go all the way through the story, which is not nearly as epic as ALLTP.
