As I said in the very post you quoted,
TMC is also the best 2D game.
ALttP has a better story in the sense that it really connects the backstory to the in-game story. I'd also say the bosses were better designer and the game overall was a bigger challenge. That being said,
TMC plays a lot better, Link controls smoother, has a variety of effective and fun swords moves that allows for a bigger variety of enemies etc. Castle Town in
TMC felt a lot more alive than Kakariko Village in
ALttP which really lacks all the different characters in
TMC (even though many of them were cameos).
A lot of this can of course be explained by the simple fact that while
ALttP really struck new ground with many of its designs,
TMC already had so much to build on, so you could say that
ALttP was the bigger accomplishment and I'd agree with that. When you compare the two games side by side there's no contest though that
TMC is the better game and gives the user a better gaming experience.
