Bellum fight broken for me....

Ok, so I've gotten to Bellum on PH, and in the final phase of the battle, the freezing time thing does not work. It worked the first time I had to do it, before you revive Tetra. But in the final phase, my damn DS doesn't accept the "hourglass" symbol I'm drawling.

Did anyone else have a problem freezing time? Can someone tell me why I can't freeze time in the final phase of the battle, even though I could before?

If I am unable to beat the final boss because of this, this is officially the worst video game I have ever played.

=/ Just draw an 8 really fast. It takes a bit of time but you'll get it. I actually did die in PH because of the stupid figure 8 thing.

But it was so easy the first time you had to do it. For whatever reason, it's more strict the second time and it's so frustrating. You can add this BS to the flaw list of PH. I want a challenge, but this isn't what I wanted. Because the game doesn't like how I draw my 8s I can't beat the final boss???

Hmm, If you could get past the part where you draw a triforce on the door, then you can easily get past this. If you can't do it quick, try doing it slowly.

I've done that. My DS just won't accept it. Plus, I get slashed every time I take my time on it. I have gotten it to work, finally, but I'd say it only works once for every 20 or so times i try it. I'm shocked that I'm seemingly the only one with issues with this. I feel embarassed. This has reached the top of my "Most Annoying Moments in Zelda" list, coming soon to a forum thread near you.

Never had a problem with it. Aren't you supposed to draw the two triangles thing, though?

Apparently, you're just supposed to draw an 8, but it just is not working. What makes this more frustrating is that I have to time it. I just got it to work, but at the wrong time (his eye was closed)

I don't believe this. And I write excellent 8s in my regular handwriting. I can't beat what is considered one of the easiest Zelda games (and I agree) just because I can't draw the number 8. Go figure.

I always drew the "two triangles" hourglass, and it hardly ever failed (it did not work 100% of the time either, but about 90%)...

Well, I beat it. Gosh, I don't want to know what would happen if someone put a gun to my head and told me to draw the number 8.

Yeah, that was a surprise to me. I did not think the final battle would be that difficult. But it was more annoying than a "fun challenge." Ah well. Seeing how Nintendo has the balls to make another DS Zelda, I guess we can think they've learned.

Ya it took me an hour to draw the damn triforce on the door. This whole game made me shake my head in dissapointment.

You guys must have poor hand-eye coordination, 'cause I did the hourglass, and the Triforce on my first try.

Actually, I found a very good pattern that is accepted every time on the Triforce door, and the Bellum fight worked fine for me so I enjoyed PH a lot.

I enjoyed PH but whenever you had to draw something I hated it. I spent what felt like an eternity on the triforce door. I find it odd though that on my first playthrough I completed the Bellum part with ease, but I too found it difficult to make an 8 on the second time through.
