I hope that Zelda won't be an annoying sidekick. But then again they all have been so I'm not expecting a change in Nintendo's style. I had high hopes for ST but seeing that Zelda will become a sidekick of sorts my hopes for this game have seriously dropped. I'm partially hating this because for the first time Zelda has a great potential to be a princess worth hating after this game. Will just have to see.

What part of Zelda looks like she'll be worth hating?
Is it that she's actively helping Link, even after the bad guy kills her?
Or is it that she's controlling an invulnerable suit of armor with an enormous sword to aid Link in dungeons?

I mean, seriously, does sidekick = annoying? I don't think so.

I fail to see how a princess/suit of armor can be annoying. Besides Midna wasn't annoying.
