Where DO the Pure Metals Come From?
This just popped into my head now, but-Has anyone else ever thought of where the Pure Metals come from? I mean, the most powerful and valuable Metals in the Great Sea cant just appear out of nowhere, can they?
Well, here's the theories: According to the article on Zelda Wiki, the Crimsonine may have been extracted from Dongorongo, or rather, the gems on it's back. Seems like something i can agree with, Dongorongo probably tries to eat/burn everything it sees cause it's still in pain from the extraction or really angry at the gorons for doing it in the first place. The Azurine could be Permafrost of some description, given the fact it is received from the Ice Dungeon, or perhaps it is made from the Gleeok's Scales. Aquanine could have been created by the inhabitants of the Isle of Ruins, as a Power Source or Storage System(IE A Battery) for their (War)Machines, making the Aquanine the highest Quality piece of this Substance. Ready, Set, Theorize(PS, im not quite sure if this belongs in Handheld or Theorizing)

Re: Where DO the Pure Metals Come From?
the first two sound reasonable, but although I like the last one, it doesn't seem to fit in with the rest. there have been other phantom swords, I believe, so there would need to be more than just that one. they need to naturally occur from somewhere.

Re: Where DO the Pure Metals Come From?
as I recall, oshus told link to go to zaus to get a phantom sword, not get one forged. and when you ask him for it, he says he no longer owns it, and must forge a new one. meaning there was, in fact, at least one other sword.

Re: Where DO the Pure Metals Come From?
I believe he doesn't say that there has been more then one phantom sword, but that he has forged other weapons to combat phantoms in the past, still needs to be more then one of each pure metal

Re: Where DO the Pure Metals Come From?
maybe not another phantom sword, but some other weapon. Zaus needed to know that the aquanine exists, and that it can be forged with. Point being, we still need to know where it comes from...

I accept with information: The Azurine could be Permafrost of some description, given the fact it is received from the Ice Dungeon, or perhaps it is made from the Gleeok's Scales and Aquanine could have been created by the inhabitants of the Isle of Ruins.
