Apparently we're a programming group. So who here actually does programming? If you are learning/know it, what langauges do you work with? Do you have any programming classes at school?

(Oh, and I'm pretty sure the proper spelling is "programmer".)

I'm currently in Computer Science 2 at school. Right now we're learning Java. Last year we learned Visual Basic. I also like to mess around with Game Maker, which is basically java code.

Recent developements within my little programming world would be that the school has just cancelled the Computer Science 3 AP class for next year, since 11 people is suddenly not enough people for the class. So we're planning to go fight with the Board of Ed! Yay!

So who else does what?

So, yea it took a long time to even respond, but I forgot about this thing. I am considered a student programmer. I know .NET and XAML (Yay Silverlight!), and I am known for my award winning site with my webmaster Trey McMeans (unfortunately is not a member of ZU) for Robotics.

He's PHP/MySQL building in Adobe and I'm .NET/VB building in Visual Studio, so we have to compromise on code. The site is http://rockets34.com/ that we made.

I don't like to use java alone, I perfer AJAX because it utilizes VB in a more controllable fashion. I hate you though, you get an actual class to learn programming. I'm just the Coke fuelled 14 year old stealling .NET magazines and taking my dad's books to learn a language.
