Signature/Small Work Showcase [V.IV]: Long Live Pterodactyls!

I'd probably change the colour of the splash thats under her/his chin. It is fleshtone atm and it kinda makes the focal look weird. It just needs to be erased a little to lit the border along his chin show up a little more. Also the bubble effect looks a little out of place, erase a little more of the outer circle. Besides that I think maybe a splash of a lighter colour on the right would finish this piece.

It looks good now, although I think it would benefit if the splash of the lighter color was more of a blue tone and nudged to the right. Right now the flesh tone and splash are both purply and it detracts from the pretty shades of blue/purple in the center.

Hyrule I actually prefer v2, but that your decision to make. The right looks a little too still or boring compared to the rest of the sig. Everything else has something else in there, (like the render or lighting) but there is nothing going on there.

Overall very good sig.

And yeah, I prefer v2 personally too. The right side is kind of bland in comparison as well. I can't find a way to fix it though. I'll keep the idea in mind in my next piece though.

quite nice sig there I like the spectrum thing on the side but I think it causes the problem that everything else on the sig isnt quite up to the same complexity and makes the rest seem plain :/

also, try blending sonic better. When I look at the sig it makes me think there is some kind of sky behind him but he doesnt fit in with it. Try duplicating the render, smuding the back one and then blur it so he fits in better

What spectrum and complexity thing were you talking about?

@Ozzie Pants: I don't really like it. It's exceptionally plain, witht he exception of the left side, which has effects which are too isolated to look good. The colours of the effects don't match either. There is no real sense of flow and the lighting is very mediocre. The render is pretty boring too, and takes up too much of the image.

I love the color. But the left looks a bit plain...

Maybe it's just me, but I don't think those colors go so great together. And it almost seems that you more or less made a background, threw in a render and some c4d's and called it a day. It's not a bad signature, but it's definitely not your best work.

Text or no text?

I personally think it looks better with text. And blur the background a bit, it looks like someone randomly sharpened areas at 100% rate.

And that sig looks decent, although the right side looks annoyingly empty.

Pretty cool. Wish the text curved with the line under it.

I like it, it is kinda plain but it works, just make the mew render a bit smaller cuz when I first saw it I thought it was a random shape with a backstory ;p

Eh, I'm not fond of it. It looks like you used a picture, slapped a filter and text on, and called it a day. Still, I like what the text says. xP

It would have looked better if you'd applied some purples and whites and such, you know, Mewtwo's style.
