The head is kind of just floating there... Otherwise I think it's pretty good. I think it needs more color though (maybe change the background or something, I dunno).

My first attempt at making a signature with GIMP.

It's 401x150 by accident.

Lose the blue color overlay on Wolf. If you're going to make the render one color the background should be relatively the same, it gives it a good blending and the impression that wolf is in blue light. There is too much random lighting everywhere and it doesn't go with the render at all. The background look like a pre-made picture of fire slapped on. If you're going to use pre-made images tweak them a bit to make them your own. The text looks of low quality, it's too big and it's placement is bad. You have too many random colors that doesn't go with eachother. Purple text, dark blue render, baby blue lighting with a firey background... yuck. Nice try for a first gimp attempt but I think you should do a 2nd version to this sig.

Well, the blue overlay doesn't work at all, it just looks stupid. The render placement is bad, it needs to be further right. The text doesn't work well, and the background is low quality. It's pretty good for a first try though, I've seen far worse.

I actually did mess around with the background a bit, but quite obviously not enough.

I just downloaded GIMP, so I'm still figuring out what everything does.

I made a second version, but I'm going to abide by the rules and wait.

Keep messing around with it. Do some tutorials from GIMPtalk. They really help a lot!

Request from my sig shop. I kinda like it actually.

I like the contrast in colors between Link and the background, it makes him stand out more than he already does.

The way Link's tunic blends with the green on the background on the bottom, it looks like he's swooping in.

Effects are pretty good and fit the signature. Colors are meh; getting rid of the red and replacing it with a green/yellow/orange would be great. Link looks a bit stretched too, which isn't good.

The colors go together well, the background, image, and foreground blend very well.

I still don't quite see what you mean, unless you're talking about his tunic stretching to reach the bottom.

It does? I smudged Link's hat to the upper right and his body to the lower left, so I guess it does give that impression.

Hyrule: It's pretty good, The edges are a little bright for my tastes.

That's probably it.

I'll go again I guess.

Id have to say, never invert (or do whatever you did) like that unless your setting it to Color and Lowering the opacity for a color effect, and that probably wouldnt look good...

Yes. The background has too much going on as well. It is a bit of a mess.

The background is good, but I really dont like the text...

The background is fine, but the text isn't to my liking at all. Perhaps if you had the design fade into black and leave the text on the black side.
