A wallpaper I made with a tutorial. Tell me what you think

Haha. It's called minimalism, dude. Not everything needs to be abstract and complex.

I kinda like them. Granted, they're just images cut out and turned black with an iPod slapped on them, but they're nice design wise. They're also copies of other design. BUT AS I SAID, I like em.

Mm... Looking pretty, in my opinion. I pefer the GIMP one, personally, the green is a little overwhelming in the Link one.
As Leminnes said, not exactly complex, or particuarly original, but hey, they look pretty, and that's what we're here for, right? ;D

Haha, have you ever seen an iPod commercial?

These work great for what you wanted. The GIMP logo/Link look a bit odd placement/size-wise but otherwise you just need to work on the background colors (just the green one because that kind of green is bad to my eyes). Anyway, nice job.

The colors in the iGimp one (red) seem a little too bright for me. Perhaps a slightly (and I mean like, just nudge the color spectrum) dimmer red would work. But seriously, that's my opinion, and the majority of others may find this perfect.

Also, it could me my monitor...

It is orange. Adjust yo monitor

Alot better, it isn't too bright, plus the shadow gives it better depth.

Much better. I'd say keep the text to the left, but center it vertically. Otherwise it looks great. And I just realized that these are really small wallpapers (unless it get centered and the background color is changed).

When I made them I set the size to to 1680x1050 which is my desktop size and it fills the whole screen.
