Paper Zelda Help PLEASE!!!

I have seen a lot of stuff that you guys have put onto this forum and I've got to tell you, I'm impressed. Now I have also been working on a project for Paper Zelda: The Legend Unfolds. I have made so many rough sketches of my characters for this game/ movie/ series, I really don't know what I am going to make it yet, but I was wondering if someone that is pretty good with image editing and that sort of stuff would possibly be able to help me with my final character Fierce Deity Link Ultra (Not Final Name though ).
I wanted to know if somebody could please mix this,
with the colors from this,

and try to keep it along the same style as this,

I would greatly appreciate help from someone.

That sounds... interesting. I'm going to give it a go. I'll return when finished. Keep in mind I may change your original design slightly, if you don't mind.

I reckon his name should be a pun on the paper aspect. Like, I don't know, Folding Deity Link or something. Just throw that out there.

Wow, thank you so much, I would do it on my own if I had the skills but all I can do is draw the pictures on paper... thank you, I really appreciate your help. And, this will already be a Paper Mario style project and Fierce Deity Link is going to be the main character, so I am not sure if putting anything in front of his name would be necessary, in Paper Mario everyone just calls him Mario. But thanks for an idea, I will still take that into consideration anyway.

Folding Deity Link is a cute name, and that boot is impressive, Sam250. I want to see the finished product. :3

Well, the boot is the easiest (and I imagine will be the best) part; after all, it isn't all that different from Paper Mario's, which is why I did it first; to get into the style.

Nonetheless, it's coming along. I have a body together and am struggling with a gauntlet. A face will be difficult for me, I imagine, but I'll tackle that when I get there. Only been able to work on it during revision gaps so far, and even then I should probably be using Inkscape to do Graphics coursework, but there you go

It is nice so far, I think that the thing you did to his waist by the belt isn't that... good. Also, there is a lot more blue than there should be, and the blue on fd is mostly grayish blue. Nice so far, and the hair is messy, I would really like it if it was like on my drawing. Thanks so much again.

On the subject of detail, finding a handful of key features to base the design around is quite challenging. Look at Mario. A tache, a cap, dungarees, gloves, boots and eyes. That is the entire design. The startling simplicity is what makes it so attractive. So reducing Fierce here to his base components is the real difficulty. Well, right next to actually making it, anyway.

But importantly, hey, Sam, way to fail in your commitments. I've taken account of all the comments, am working on him as we speak.

I'd be interested in seeing someone actually go through with a Paper Zelda game.
I had an idea to do it once, but I was pretty sure other people also thought of it, so I didn't.

What do you think so far. Sword is a placeholder, of course.

Great so far Sam! I think you should make the right hand, sword hand have a normal glove. He only has one glove in the story I am making for it. And the hat should still have the decoration on it like I put on my drawing since it is a sort of "upgraded" deity. Really good though.
