Graphical Requests

This thread is for Alerting Graphic Artists to ZU Banners/buttons, etc etc that need one of you talented whatsits to make.


This includes something like the Awards Banners in the future, as well as any other banners that community activities might require.


This thread will serve as an Advertising Ground for any such jobs going, and a Link to the thread in question, where you can submit your entries (if it's in a competition-y format like the awards')

Any questions, fire ahead (though after that, I'll ask that we keep chatter to a minimum so that requests and adverts don't get drowned out :> )

aaaand, I'll start with the first request:



Project: The ZU Big Piece of Paper


Job Description: To create a small button thingy for all people taking part in the BPP to be able to add to their sigs. A small icon that has "ZU BPP" within it somewhere, and advertising participation in the project. I would like 2 versions of the button, one to indicate having already taken part (received and passed on) and another indicating that you'd signed up, but it still hadn't reached you yet.


Possible Image Suggestions: maybe a tiny picture of an old scroll? A tick that goes across and over the image if one has already had and passed on the paper perhaps.


Special features: Alternatively, another idea I toyed around with, is to have the "on the list, but still waiting for it" version to be darker, as though the light is off, whilst the "Got it, took part, and passed it on!" version be very bright.

Preferably making a difference between one who's still waiting for it, but will be taking part, and one where the user will have already had it an dpassed it on :>

I don't know. I just thought since people mail it to each other, an envelope would work nicely.
