Greetings! Thought it was a good idea to share with you all my creations. Mostly Photoshop wallpapers, but I'm busy uploading a whole lot more of my works on deviantart. I'll also be uploading my own website very soon (which also fits into this forum's category right? After all, webdesign is also graphic). Oh, if by any chance it's against the rules to promote your own website here then obviously I won't do that
But I think as long as it's not something commercial then it's ok, right?

I'd suggest working with more high-quality effects - some look like they have been JPG compressed.

What exactly do you mean with high quality effects? And the JPG compressed bit.. yeah, I did save them as JPG's, for convenience sake and also because it's the most used file type for wallpapers and such.. What other file type and/or compression do you suggest? PNG?

Do not use .jpg's. They kill the quality of a piece.

I personally recommend saving your works as, like you said, .png's. They make it look so much better.

Alright, thanks for the advice. I've only been using PNG's for pictures with transparency.. But now that I compare the quality and file size of one of my wallpapers between JPG and PNG, I see everyone's point about JPG killing the quality.
