All right, kids. Let's focus on something fun and productive: Me.

Here's version one. I like it the best, but it's for you to decide...:

Re: Signature/Small Work Showcase [V.II]

Well, I like it. It seems a bit chaotic, though, and the Shadow image takes up a lot of space in the signature; maybe shrink him down a bit. The colours are good, but seem a bit odd in the space right next to Shadow's head (on the left.) Those boxes in the bottom left are bugging me a bit, too.

No brushes, C4D or anything like that. Just filters.
I don't usually condone filter rush, but sometimes you can make really awesome effects. Overall, this is a nice sig to look at, I really like the grayscale colors.

I like version one better. This is really nice, TB. I like abstract, and I like grunge - and this seems to be a combination of both. I would like it even without the image of Shadow, I just like looking at the effects in the background. It's pretty busy, but still very nice. Good job.

Wow, awesome. Lots of depth to it, colors match well. I don't like the text on the gun, it was a creative idea but I'd get rid of it. Also, the gray boxes by the gun don't match well with the sig. Effects is cool and so is the lighting but it seems like you don't have a light source. His hand is too bright and the light is obviously shining on the other side of Shadow. So I'd put more light areas on the left part of the sig.

VERY awesome job though. :XD

Re: Signature/Small Work Showcase [V.II]

This is my latest work:

I'm in charge of making the award banners for Din Winter Awards. Some have won multiple awards, so I thought it would be best to animate those. I had a problem yesterday and throughout today with the animated ones. There was a stupid white blotch that wouldn't go away. I finally went back to the roots, discovered an unwanted layer, and promptly got rid of it. Anyways, all's well now. ^_^

I know I butchered the outline of the Din's Pearls, but other than that, I'm quite proud of my latest works. ^_^

Re: Signature/Small Work Showcase [V.II]

Text could stand major improvement, it's kind of 'blah' and not very pretty to look at, despite being a sans serif font (or just regular sans). Also, you could ditch the outer glow on the letters, it looks pretty cheesy. :/ Animation is smooth, though, and (aside from the pearls), transparency is smooth as well.

No, I couldn't ditch the outer glow. The text looked very crappy without it, making it harder to read.

It's a nice design, and you executed it pretty nicely. The messy stroke on the pearls really make me cringe. The text definitely needed something to add contrast between it and the background - but I agree with mz that the outer glow looks kind of cheesy.

I saw this in his sig and I really liked it. I like the brushing that you did, but I think 'Cloyster' would look a lot better in the same light purple as his outer shell. Great job.

Re: Signature/Small Work Showcase [V.II]

Frozen - I like the use of transparency there. Looks nice. I don't really have anything else to say; except maybe if you used a variety of colours it would look a bit better. Well, at least for the text, to make it stand out more I guess. Other than that, I think it's great. Creative.
Very nice job. :]

Haven't made something for like, ages.

Not quite sure if I like it.
I tried to experiment a bit; to be more creative I guess. My main aim was to try and produce something different from usual. Hm. :/

Actually, Ed. I do somewhat like it, the effects are nicely done. What I personally believe you did wrong, was the Stock. You should have picked a more suitable stock, in my opinion. But other than that, you remain a fabulous artist with fabulous skills.

epic win, etc

Trust me, you weren't the one that had to make it. ^_^'

By the time I figured out a solution, most of the banners were already finished. There no way I'm starting over again. I call it done, and expect to do better next time.

I was going to say the same thing, but it's actually a car window. XD

Ed: The woman is really beautiful - I think it would be a lot more visually appealing to keep the original colors. The peach overtones of her skin, the blonde of her hair, the pink of her lips, etc. She looks washed out in blue and white.

Other than that I like it - the effects are really nice.

I do like the color diversity, the idea is very nice. The depth could be more defined however, and it could use a border. =]
