Signature/Small Work Showcase [V.II]

Moop- I really like this. It's height is a bit too tall fo me, but that's just a personal thing, so nothing to worry about. The colors are very nice and the background works incredibly well wit Slash.

Shroom- This is definately one of your better ones. Shows what you can really do. The arrows go nicely, and the depth looks great.

Moop- I like the Slash one better But this one still looks really good. As Nayru said, you can do without that bar, but the effects are nice, and overall everything looks pretty good.

My Ed tut turnout:



A bit cookie-cutter, but I think if you look past that, it turned out nice. I believe I'm using this for the competition I made (Join Please T_T)

Looks a lot like your previous signature, only with a different color. Use a much different technique.

Seems dark, but love the colours. Pretty nice. ;] Flows well.

Ehh.

Its... decent. I saw that you used Ed's tut with this and although you said you used your own techniques, I dont really see anything different from your own style (ie major blurring of backround).

This sound weird but although I cant really see anything bad about it, it just doesnt appeal to me.

I don't quite know how I'd sharpen them, since I did it all with the same tool, but when I go back to take out the mole (seems no one likes it), I'll try to do something about the lips.

If I had to nitpick, though, I'd say the text is too dark. It's well-placed, but the edges of it get kind of blurred off by the rest of the sig.

Here, the people on my other gfx forum said that this was my best, but I'm not so sure.

Eeeh. I'm not so keen on the text. Also, the filtering is kind of weird. Otherwise good.

Mz: too red. needs other colours to offset it.

Tach: back eh? your PS sigs totally own your GIMP ones. Id say your bioshock is your best, but this is definately nice. good use of colour and lighting, but bad text. thats all thats bad really. nice one

I think that the right side of the signature is a little overpowering compared to the left side, try to balance that out a little by adding some effects, brusing, or pentooling to the left in purple, or to the right in black.

Also, try to define the lighting source a little more definitely, as well as the flow.

I'm also getting a little tired of the abstractalisms(?) in general (not just yours), but it doesn't change the fact that it's good.

I would maybe flip him the other direction. It looks like the light source is at the bottom of his guitar, but there are shadows on his front and highlights on the back of his shoulder. The left side is pretty empty, perhaps add another element. I'm going to disagree with TB and say that love your wispy pen tool lines, you're very good at it - it's kind of your 'thing'.

I'd save it as a JPEG then. It may be lower quality, but it wouldn't be so bright.

Lighter version:

Pretty nice, Monty. It's a bit dark, so maybe a lightsource would make it come to life. Good job.

I actually prefer the "darker" version. It goes well with the eyes. The text is simple, but I kinda want to know how it ends. I think it's "Blackhead", but I'm not sure. Overall, very shmexy. Who is that dude btw? Reminds me of Broly...

That Ed's tut was REALLY helpful, taught me many things.

^Very nice. the little pink stripe is the only thing that bugs me.

You're coming on in leaps and bounds Mr. 13. This is really advanced -- some really good work, with advanced skills such as overlays and lighting. It's taken me by surprise.

Although your bucket sigs will always be my favorite ^__~.
