Graphics Design - Rules and Information

First off, we’d like to welcome you to the new Graphics Design! As some of you know, there has been problems with Graphic Chats beforehand, The Graphics Design mods will not be taking flaming and spam lightly nor will anything be overlooked.

Commenting and Criticism.

Like with the Art rules, the same rules apply here. When you make a comment make sure that it has content.

Comments such as these are unacceptable:
- "Good/nice job/work"
- "I like/love it"
- "Awesome stuff"
- "Haha/LOL/ROFL/That was funny (in reference to humourous things)"
- "-generic statement of anticipation for more work from said artist-"

COMMENTS MUST HAVE CONTENT!

If you do have something worthwhile to say, say it in a sensible and dignified manner. Do not have a go at the Person or the piece, and avoid flaming all together. Do not feel you have to prove yourself, because we won't give you special Treatment. We can tell the difference between flaming and criticism.

If you post something here, expect criticism!
If you can't take it then don't post your work here. And if you receive a comment that you disagree with, that does not give you right to flame the other person. No opinion is greater then another and flaming will not prove your point.


Individual Showcases

Members are more than welcome to make their own graphic showcase thread. Commenting and criticism rules still apply in these threads.


Graphical Content

I'm going to make this very clear.

Not Allowed:
-Borderline hentai/ecchi/soft porn (cleavage, panty shots, tight/revealing clothing)
-Depictions of sexual intercourse
-Profanity
-Obscene gestures
-Phrases suggestive of sexuality
-Graphic violence
-Artistic Nudity is allowed. No porn or anything of a sexual nature.


Other rules

-All signatures may be posted in the Signature/Small Work Showcase. This thread will be heavily modded and watched over. Comment rules apply.
-Pieces larger then 600 by 600 pixels can be posted as their own thread in the forum for criticism. Anything smaller then that should go in the signature/small work showcase.
-Tutorials are to be put in the sub-forum “Graphics School.” Do not post them in the main forum.

What you should put in the graphic forum and what should be put in the art forum:

-The graphic forum is restricted to computer generated art such as 3D graphics, flash toons, large computer graphics works, and movies. All others, such as pottery and paintings, should be put in the Art Forum.
