Issue 1:

Cute....but....put more effort into it.


I liked the credits section.

Aye, tis the pointless comic! They often grace this forum now and then. First off, the speech bubbles were good. But it needs, uh, interest. Something to make it stand out, something to make people read it more. Like more characters, a bueno background, interesting characters, a background, and plot. Or more humor. Try smaller panels and add close-ups. Try adding more text in a frame. That is all. If you do all that, your comic will be as good as they come.

Can't you be a little more easy on the guy?

He may make awsome sprites, but he cant make good backrounds, and to me, its an awsome comic, even though it needs SOME improvment (not alot).

Also, its not pointless, ok!? People make comics, expecting respect...i think....they make them for fun. Not i care how others feel about this comic, i just think Pointless is the wrong word to descibe it.

And thanks Bombar, your comic is the first comic that doesnt hurt my eyes. I commend you on that.

As for now, you comic is lacking, a fair bit. For now the size of the comic is good, but, maybe you could have a tiny bit more happen in them.

We need to develop characters more in a single frame, the first line they say should provide a perfect introduction of what they're really like. But giving us a life story is bad.

As for the background, thank God you didn't use that pain in the arse one that everyone uses and looks crap. I highly recommend you DON'T use it. You're current one is definately not the best but at least it isnt an eye sore like the other one. I like it's simplistity but you will have to make a better one.

But ha, the credits was funnier then the comic itself XD
Keep it up though.

Nice for a first try, though the backgrounds are a bit lacking. If you're looking for better ones try bghq, neuropod, or phylomortis.
As for the humor, it was ok but it could be better. As Z said, random is not funny. Doing unexpected things is hilarious but only if used right. Whatever you do, DO NOT try to make three jokes in every panel. This makes the comic seem cramped and it makes you seem desperate for laughs.
Other than that it was ok, just try to make a plot in the next few issues.

Man, I still can't beleive you made those airplane sprites. Doing originals is really difficult. You should post some more of your work, I'd love to see them, 'cause you're truly amazing! Oh and sorry about the pointless bit, excuse my bad choice of words but I chose some bad words. What I meant was I couldn't see where it was going. Truthfully my comic is probably more pointless than anyones. I didn't mean it as an insult or even critisizm. And all that I said about backgrounds it that it'd be good if bombar used a bueno one. I understand not everyone can make backgrounds and it is awesome that the ugly generic hyrule one wasn't used but I never insulted the background. It could use some work (obviosly) because it just two colors, which is one color away from being as simple as you can get.
