Hi thar, this'll be my new thread since the last one kinda bugged out on ZU and took all the views for the entire site for a while. Oops. I was starting to think people liked my stuff! It's alright, though, since the last thread wasn't very popular anyways. Needed a reorganization, too.

So this'll be pretty simple, I hope. I'm gonna post some images here, and hopefully you people will give me some sort of critique on them. I need critique. SO GIVE ME IT NAOW

This post'll contain my older works + newer ones. Reserving two posts after for future images. Images are listed from the oldest ones to the newest. Note that some are missing, and all my previous works can be found in the last thread, here.

Disclaimer: I can't do proper graphics, so you may take or leave what I'm going to say as you wish.

The improvement is definitely visible, and your works are usually easy on the eyes and pleasant to look at; I have a handful of favorites among your pieces. However, I think that the font choice (and sometimes the placement) is unfortunate. Many times, the font is too simple and I'd say the sig would've been better without it. I reckon you can download more fonts to fix this.

As for the placement, I'm not an expert, but this wasn't as good as it could've been. It also didn't help that the background made it difficult to read some letters and one word was in the next line.

My two cents; but I do like what you're doing, so don't be discouraged. c:

Yeah, I know my font's kinda suck right now. I've been experimenting with placement, font types, etc. and have been trying to get better at my font's in general. That's why you see them in pretty much every piece I have.

I can definitely say that my font-work has been getting much better (at least when compared to something like this), though, and I plan to continue to work on it until it's perfect - at least in my eyes.

Another one. First time doing a sig like this one - I have a few things to iron out, such as the border, but other than things like that I think it came out decently.



Made in honor of Wheel of Time's final book being finished and sent to the publishing company to be published. Posted in Small Work Showcase, which is really cool. You should check the thread out. Do it.



Posted in the latest SotW. Not my best work, but I was playing with C4D placement as well as color schemes. Still decent.



Made using a (very) poorly written tutorial. Came out nothing like the tutorial's version did (his was Iron Man with different C4D's). Still like it a lot, and I'm going to make more like it.

Used a tutorial about halfway through then went with my own thing. Worked on some smudging.

Where is said smudging? I don't see any xD

I'll send you the .xcf so you can see it. It's the scratchy stuff around the render - used the Vine 02 (default) brush with Perspective set as my dynamics. It's not clearly visible because of screening/overlaying/whatever else I did to it.

This is well done! WELL DONE INDEED. Even if the little area on the top left of the signature is a little bright in color, it doesn't take your view away from the Elizabeth render. SOL I AM PROUD , YOU ARE DEFINITELY IMPROVING
