R U L E S & G U I D E L I N E S
Welcome citizen, to the land of all things graphics! Here you can post many magical threads that make participatory readers tingle inside with delight more than a unicorn's first day at the whimsical stay-in-school-kids factory!
But hold on one tootin' second mister, what kinds of threads can I post here? I am at a loss and don't even!
Well I'm glad you asked! Follow me into the tunnel of dreams, and I shall guide you on your way. Oh by the way, did I mention you look beautiful today?
Oh, thanks mister!
No sweat, Jimmy - *shades* -
No sweat. - Thread Tags -
When making threads, it would be wise to use one of the tags below so that your beautiful viewers can expect what to see. Tags are located to the left of the title input box.
[Graphics] - These threads are for general graphics work. If you want critique or are wanting to post a large or small portfolio, this is the best tag to use.
[Shop] - Shop threads, or 'signature shops', are threads where you - the sig maker - offer your services to other who will request for a signature to be made. If you feel you have the time and like the challenge of making cool graphics with given renders, make a shop with this tag.
[Sprites] - Sprite threads are generally for sprite comics, but can also be for original sprite work. That's about it for this one, if you're using sprites in your piece the mark the thread with this tag.
Other - If you find that your thread doesn't fit under the above categories, you can leave your thread tagless. This shouldn't be the case very often, but if it is, be sure to title your thread informitavely.
So now that we have tags out of the way, we'll move onto the rules! Don't you just love rules?
Oh boy I sure do! Rules and oatmeal, mmmm!
*laughs* Oh Jimmy, you're such a tease.
..??
- Thread Rules -
Just like everywhere else at Zelda Universe, we expect you to follow some rules. Most of this stuff is common sense, so don't get too worried about bad things happening. Just be sure to follow these and you'll be fine.- Don't make random, unrelated spammy posts.
- Don't flame, troll or be generally argumentative.
- If you have nothing to say other than "this is good!", use the Like button instead.
- Follow any further rules specified by the thread maker.
- If you can easily find an image or something to have shopkeeper work with, please post it with your request. This is more of a case-by-case thing--if someone wants to be surprised or something, it's not necessary, but if they just give a random description with obscure characters, it's probably not okay.
Alright! So I think you're ready to wander off into the land of Graphics Design now, Jimmy. Are you going to go post some threads and leave some replies like a good little boy?
I don't know mister, I don't think I'm good enough to make one of these signature shops or sprite comics. *tear*
Now now Jimmy, don't cry. I happen to know someone who can help you out with that. She goes by the name of Liah, she's in the thread next door. Got lots of info and help for you to make any of the threads I mentioned.
W-Wow, really!? You sure she can help little ol' me?
Oh Jimmy, she can help you with a
lot of things. Believe me, I can barely walk!
That sounds great!! I'll go check out the thread next door and post some stuff right away!
That a boy! Now take your pants off.
