[Sprites] Mino's Sprite Shop

I'm not really going to pretend I know much of spritework, but isn't only drawing 2 different styles (FE mugshots and FE battle sprites) kind of hindering your progress? I mean, sure you can work on fine tuning things (shading, etc.) but you'll really only have experience in this style of spritework. Wouldn't it be more beneficial to work on different styles, even if you didn't like them? Who knows what kind of techniques you may pick up along the way? As they say, variety is the spice of life.

This is the style I prefer doing. Simple as that. :/

And what's wrong with my shading?

I'd really rather not get into the whole "Hey let's offer some critique or advice to Ranny so she can blow it out of proportion and everyone will start a ****storm about it!" thing again.

Uh, I don't recall you ever having to get into that. What I meant was that I'd gladly do different styles, only I prefer the one I'm using now and I really have no clue at all how to do any others. Plus, I'd really like to continue doing my FE characters.

I'd say it is quite accurate. My only gripe (and it is small) is that her eyes seem more like a light purple than silver. However, everything else is great.

All other feedback I'll leave for people who know stuff about art.

I'm curious to see what an FE sprite with orange hair would look like. Are you up to the task?

There are some FE characters who have orange hair, Blizz.

I'm confused, how much of these sprites are you actually doing? Are you using sprites from a game then changing them or are you drawing these from absolute scratch in paint or something?

I was just trying to get you active.

That, and orange is my favorite color.

I don't know how many I'll be doing yet.

And sort of both. I do use faces and hair parts and stuff, but a lot of the time, I draw things from scratch.

Oh I see, well either way they're looking pretty great so good job! You might want to flip then horizontally sometimes too, because I find that sprite png avatars look better when facing towards the posts.
