Fire Emblem: Radiant Signatures

Yes, I parodied off of FE10's title. XD

Anyway, I started making FE10 character sigs for the heck of it. I mean RD is my favorite game and has the coolest character models, imo, so here we go. I've started with the most important and coolest characters of all, the Greil Mercenaries. Which starts with our favorite blue haired mercenary, Ike. :3

I put a quote from each character in the sig. Some of my favorite quotes, actually.

Well, I would have used better quality pictures if they existed. xP

But those are the only images of Oscar and Boyd from RD that there are, unfortunately. They were originally smaller, but I resized them and sharpened them and did the best I could.

As for text, I can never seem to improve on it, so I just do what I can with it and leave it at that.

Alternatively, practice or attempt making signatures without text.

I do practice. Like I said, I never improve on it, so I just do what I can.

And most of those are FE9. The FE10 ones, which I used, are all small.

I've added Titania. I just like her better than Soren, so yeah. But Soren is next lol.

Another update. Soren's been added. Next I'll do Mist, Ike's sister. :3

If the quality and text was better, these sigs would be pretty good.

As I said, I only do what I can with text. I've tried to improve on it.

And really, the only sigs that have low quality images are Oscar and Boyd, which is not my fault because their RD models were too small at first. Sized larger, they were a little blurry and I did my best to sharpen them up. I'd have used their PoR models instead, but this is RD, so yeah.

Ranil just kill the text. It doesn't add anything and the quotes are mundane. Seriously kill it with holly water and fire.

Nah, I like the quotes. Besides, whether or not people like them isn't the point of this thread. :3

The actual quotes aside the text still isn't adding anything it's detracting from the sig.

The Soren sig would look better with out the curves in the wind effect to the left of the c4d. Also the Titania sig feels a little empty and the top right corner is just a little too dark.

Ah, so you noticed I was going for a windy feel with Soren? Good, cause it's meant to be that way. Soren is a wind mage, so yeah. Thanks for the advice.

As for Titania, I feel something's missing too, but I'm not sure what.

Ike and Soren are my favorites, though the effects on the Oscar one look good too. I think that that could be improved if you added some floral brushing on his left side? The pieces could go without the texts, but I'm not gonna criticize about that, since that's not the point.

Soren, especially without text, would be a great signature. The rest are pretty average, but you did a great job with her.

Her? Are you sure you're talking about Soren? Because he's a guy.

Well I've never played Fire Emblem, but I'm talking about the one called Soren. (Looks like a chick to me =O)

I don't blame you, haha. I thought Soren was a girl at first too. And believe me, he's not the only FE guy who looks like a girl. Lucius and Marth also look very feminine. Lucius being the most feminine looking of them all. Yeesh. xP
