I'm about to do this assignment right now, though.

I'll do a new one sometime soon, I just happen to be going through a tutorial right now. Also, god damn it I just deleted my brushes for no good reason. I had a ton. It looked like they were all pixelated, so I pressed reset and they all went, but I had the damn pencil selected. Look like I'm going to have to visit deviantArt again ,_,".

EDIT: Yeah I noticed the contradiction too >_<.

Oh, snap! I have a lot of brushes, too. I've had a few times when I almost deleted them all.

Yep, that's the point. I tried several angles and different lighting to get it to look that mangled.

I can see you did one. Hand is scary, but hey, not bad. Nice choice of action for the hand. Interesting choice. Play around more with these actions and see what you come up with.

I just did this sig:

This was a combination of filter-ocean ripple, sharpen edges, topaz velocity (sorry, unless you buy this I can't help you with it ), actions, clipping masks and gradients. I didn't have anything special in mind, I just went and did anything I could think of and this is what I got.

I did make another sig, but it came out terribly so I don't feel like posting it. I need to learn how to make clean sigs with space, instead of packing them up. My current sig was made today following a tut, which looks okay to me, but it's got loads going on.

Alrighty, then lets work on a sig with space. I'll get one right now too. Space is hard to pull off. I'll need the practice too.

C4D's and colored soft brushes set to lighten and a bit of text. I suck at text....

I've got another one, but it's got quite a bit in it again.



Sorry if I keep failing miserably lol, it's all just practice I guess.

Wow, that is a great signature! Not only did you use the space effectively, but the lighting and effects look really good! They don't distract from the main focal (girl in the middle) and everything works!

I like the colors, but my suggestion would be to have the colors only on the main focal. Use no color or different colors for the sides or something.

I can't see a difference, either...

It's only a subtle change :/ Can you see the yellow splatter brush layer? I layer masked it and faded the sides and some of the top out, so the colour didn't spill as much.

Okay, I see it now. Very subtle, but now that I see it, I prefer the second(newer) one.

Yah, pretty much. I also edited it so it doesn't confuse anyone about the mariah carey tut. I'm using shapes for the first time btw.

I'll probably end up using brushes, like you said. Unless what you make with shapes is interesting. Anyway, the both seem pretty do-able, and I'm starting the breathe one right now (:
