Hey Frozen, do you have any feedback on the updated sig I posted here a while ago? I understand if you've been busy though

Hey Frozen, may I join? I have CS3 and Elements 6.0 (can't use atm) but I'd like to learn how to make some pretty sweet sigs. Some of my previous works are basically just two abstract backgrounds I made while tinkering around with Elements 6.0.



The first one was made using several lens flared layered and then blended and twirled in different directions with some blurs and other filters to get the final product and used a standard black background; then changed the hue to a blue color.



The second one was made using random filters and a few lens flares, don't quite remember how I did this one, was jsut messing around but it uses different lighting to make the middle the focal point of the background.

I'm somewhat familar with the tools on the sidebars and know how to attain brushes and such but I would like to learn more about layers, the flow of colors, the background of the signature, how to use actions and effectively using renders and C4Ds in my signatures.

If you can help me, I thank you in advance.

You're welcome to join, this has been a little inactive recently.

For starters I'd just like you to make me a signature. It doesn't have to contain anything, or be made in a certain way. Just do what you feel like and post it here when you're done.

I will but currently having issues with photoshop, I'll try to get it up as soon as possible.

Sure, you're very welcome to join. First things first; I'd like you to make another signature, but with a more interesting background. Try anything, and we'll take it from there.

I made this one with gimp, which i think i'll use instead 'cause my version of photoshop sucks so bad. I know the text is messed up, but i mesed it up so i couldn't fix it

Yes. Finnaly.. FROZEN PLEASE TEACH ME.. I have wasted my whole day following the tuts in deviantart and i failed 21 times.. Lol.. Well, I deleted all the ugly ones and I think this is the best.. And i use photoshop cs3. And my ign used to be Eyeshield 21

Okay, well a few things to start:
First, you should never use filters over the render, it ruins it completely. Secondly, your render placement, and text placement leave something to be desired. The background itself is actually quite nice, but again, the filters cause issues. Try reading this tutorial, and make something else for me. It doesn't have to be beautiful, but it'll help you to grasp the basics. We'll take it from there.

Just try and bear the stuff in mind when you next make a sig. It doesn't have to be straight away, just when you're ready. :>

Lol, Seems like its all in my mind XD. And this time i want to try once again. So Is there any specific tut that you know should i do ? Cuz I don't really know which one should i do.

This one teaches some lovely smudge techniques, try that perhaps?

Well, for now i want to make sigs with render and stuff.. Then I will get on with smudge and abstract things like that.
