The main thing that has always bugged me with PS is how the bloody hell do you simply draw a perfect circle? I've never been able to figure it out and the help file is so archaic. -_- I usually end up drawing the circle in Paint and then import it. I'm sure there is a better way, but I'm just too dense to find it. Help me plz?

Sure, anytime.

Okay, circles. Photoshop uses shape layers as vectors, so that's probably your best bet (you can resize without quality loss etc.) Click on the "Rectangle Tool" and hold the button. Then select the circle tool, and draw away. hold Shift for a perfect Circle.

Okay, I think I figured it out. The friggin thing makes me go into ImageReady to do things like that, so now it makes sense. Thanks for pointing me in the right direction. I've never used ImageReady before this, never really knew what it was, and now I see lots of new options to play with before me, albeit a little archaic perhaps.

Oh man, I need to get a newer version than 5.5 - mother is ten years old now.

Broken out the C4D already eh? I like. Kinda simple though.. However, great render choice, good flow, placement isn't bad at all, but it is *boring.* I don't much like the size either. I'd have gone smaller heigh-wise... Oh! The lighting is nice too, but not perfect.
Try some smudging perhaps?

This, is my favorite. However, you do not need to throw your name on everything. It is a bad habit employed by another person on this forum. Aspire away from it, fast. Also, I love how reusable this tutorial is. Read it, and make prtty plz. :3

The flames were part of the render, actually.

I didn't want to mess with the lighting, seeing as his face was illuminated enough from the flames.

Okay Frozen. I just dug into my treasure of goodies and pulled out a few things.



Okay, as you can see in the sig below this image, I did a pallete swape on Catwoman. It took me a good deal of hours but it paid off in the end.






^As you can see the border is black but its suppose to be transparent around the base image. The MK site had a black theme so I simply added black. It blended right into that site giving a transparent look. I could have opened up a PSD and made it transparent for this site but I'm too lazy right now... Meh






These are a few I did for people on this forum. You may or may not have seen them... Not my best but it's how I feel at the time depends on the effort I will put into them





As for what I want to learn, I will just follow whatever lessons your teaching and take your criticism.

Tip: Always make the background with a render in mind, otherwise it just looks slapped on. So, the render should be on the left, as Beh said. I don't like how sharp the background is either, you should have blurred it. It's lacking in flow and lighting too. D:
Pretty good, but defiantly not the best you could do...

C4D stands for "Cinema 4D", based on the program people make C4D's in (which is called Cinema 4D)

Ah. I thought that, seeing as C4 is an explosive, that a C4D in the movie industry would be a computer-generated explosion. And then other digital effects similar to it would be grouped in the C4D catagory.

Frozen I tried a smudging type signature. I notice this is what your teaching so I attepmted it. This is the third smudge signature I've done and I cant seem to get the results I look for with them.

What happen with the class?
