Welcome to my Locker *cough* I mean Homeroom.
Here, you will learn the many ways that you can create amazing work using vector-based environments and forced vectoring through programs like Photoshop and, for those who have it, PSP (although I won't go into the specifics for PSP).

Some questions you may have:

What is a Vector?
A vector uses curves and lines instead of pixels, making for a smoother-looking piece of art. Technically speaking, vectors are math in one of its forms.

How do I joined Homeroom?
Just ask, you silly-willy-wafflehead. You can join by posting in this thread asking to do so, or by PMing me or posting on my wall.

How do I make vectors?
That's what this thread is for, silly.

Can I vectorize a sig I already made?
Well, there are three possible answers to that:

• Not really, no.
• Yes, but I hope you have lots of free time.
• Sure, but you need to pay for an auto-vectorer, and they don't really work that well on complex pieces.

What if I'm terrible at first?
Everyone has to learn sometime, and this is a thread for, of all things, learning.

What are some vectoring programs I can use?
Excellent question, you're a genius. Some programs are:

• Inkscape - a free, open-source vector environment.
• Photoshop
• Paint Shop Pro
• GIMP (I'm not sure on this one, really.)
• Illustrator, Photoshop's vector-based environment.

What are some examples of vector work?
