Welcome to my homeroom, aspiring sig makers! If you'd like to make sigs with the greatness of mine, come in here and I'll be happy to teach you. The main goal is to teach the students to make sigs, avys, and banners using Photoshop 5.0. Yeah, it's not a very new version, but it does the job!

Now, this place has one main rule in addition to ZU rules. Only the students and I are allowed to post in here, unless you're asking to be a student yourself. Just pop the question and I'll put you on the student list.

First we'll start with the basics of using PS 5.0 to make sigs/avys/banners, such as choosing good renders, using good colors, and making simple, easy to do backgrounds and borders. Once I see a student fit, then they'll learn more advanced techniques, such as blending in renders and using C4Ds and such. I'll also be giving tuts out specifically for the students learning basics and the ones in the advanced. Assignments will be given to both groups either once a week or when I can get to it (I can't guarantee I'll do it each week all the time, ya know).

Oh, and if you have an even older version of PS 5.0, then that should be fine here as well, though I can't guarantee you'll be able to do everything I teach. Anything above cannot be taught here, seeing as the capabilities exceed that of PS 5.0. If you'd like to learn a more recent version, I'd recommend another homeroom, though if you really want me to teach you, I suppose it can be done. :3

Assignment #1: Make a sig. Any sig. Just throw me one to see what you can do. But only start after I put you on the student list!

EDIT: Oh, one more thing. Mind telling me which version of PS you have and how long you've used it?

I am currently using Photoshop CS2...pretty much the same as 5.0 in my opinion...does not look much different so cant be much different, right?

Maybe. I've never used PS CS2, but I did download a trial version once and I still recall it pretty well. So, you're in. Start on the first assignment whenever you can. :]

I would, but I can't because I don't have PS, I only have GIMP because it was free :XD

Oh, okay. I kinda wish I could teach GIMP too, but I hardly understand that program myself. I tried using it...

I'm still waiting for students. Don't let bad rumors about me fool you sig makers out there, okay? I'm a nice person, and you can learn a lot from me. I'll help you the whole way through and do my best to explain things to the point where you understand. :]

I would join the homeroom, but I use GIMP, and my mom wouldn't let me pay money for comp. stuuf, unless I had a credit card.

Gosh, it seems more and more ZUers are using GIMP now...

Oh well, I'll get students who are able to learn someday.

Hmm......No microsoft Picture it! software? Where could I find photo shop that you said? I might be intrested in making my own sigs.....

Uh, online? Photoshop is quite expensive, though.
