Well, I've been getting a TON of people asking for a sig tutorial, so here it is! It's simple and it's based off some of my new work.

THIS IS A PHOTOSHOP TUTORIAL. I USED CS3 BUT YOU SHOULD BE ABLE TO USE ANY.

I don't know how to use Gimp. Otherwise I would. Check out -=Cobra=-'s tutorial, its for Gimp.

I'm going to try this as soon as I can, tomorrow maybe. I have GIMP, but it should be simple enough to do everything the same. I heard somewhere that GIMP can use PS brushes, too.

The way it was worded sounded like you were shocked so many people used a free product as opposed to a pretty expensive one (PS is like $300?), which sounded like you felt GIMP was inferior.

Never meant to make it sound like that. Gimp is just as good as photoshop, I just didn't know who used what around here. I don't think anyone else besides you thought that it meant that way either. Now, you're kind of spamming my thread. This is for people to compliment the tutorial and/or try it out.

Mhm, so I was looking at the tut and I was wondering, it looks like the 3rd Metroid Sig in the examples you put in there looks to be more complicated to do. Is it?

Well, since I can't do Cobra's I'll attempt to try and make a sig for this tut. Hopefully those PS brushes work on mah GIMP.

EDIT: Problem is, if I can get a brush on GIMP. I've never done it.

It has a different background thats all, (I didn't blend the render) but I used all the other steps in the tutorial to make it.

@ZeldaMaster#1#1: Talk to -=Cobra=- or someone else who uses GIMP about how to do that. I honestly have no clue.

Well, to get PS brushes on GIMP, I will have to download a few things. So, PS brushes are out of the question.

Well, this tutorial is not made for GIMP users. If you tried it, you probably won't be able to get the same results. I'd just go find a GIMP tutorial.

Or get some splatter brushes for GIMP instead.

I got as far as the "Ctrl+Alt+G" thing. What action does that do?
