Favorite Darknut/Iron Knuckle Design?

So throughout the series we had to deal with one of the hardest enemies, Darknuts being more of a human in armor and Iron Knuckles meaning a completely hostile suit of metal that will chop you to pieces because someone forgot to oil them. =p

Well anyways, what design of this enemy do you find the best?

For me, Twilight Princess; simply because I have a thing for the Medieval times and these on TP are possibly the closest incarnation to real medieval knights, plus they flick their swords/maces at you which makes me laugh.

I'm going to have to agree with you. Twilight Princess had the best design of darknuts. The iron knuckles were just ugly, and they were incredibly easy to beat. The darknuts at least are challenging, especially the TP ones.

I liked the twilight princess ones, because aside from how they fight exactly the same way as each other, it feels more like a real battle between competent swordsmen.

Yeah have to agree that the ones from TP looked the best.

I like TWW's. They are easy, but a lot of fun. You can take their sword and watch it attempt to fight with their hands or have it pick up a fallen moblin's spear, for example.

Although the Darknuts from TWW are indeed quite funny in behaviour, I still prefer the ones from TP. As they were giving more of a battle than the primer ones I mentioned.

Re: Favorite Darknut/Iron Knuckle Design?

I love the ones in OoT. No competition there. I think the ones in TP just try too much like teenage wannabies. And the ones in WW where just too easy. Of course if you count Armos Knights into vote then having them as a boss in ALttP was fun and easy. Just pick a corner and spray with your bow. I did like the one in LA in the Southern Faceshrine before you can go read the Windfish's legend on the wall. That would be my second favourite.

1. OoT
2. Armos Knight of the Southern Faceshrine in LA.

Re: Favorite Darknut/Iron Knuckle Design?

TP Darknuts had the best design, although the game was too easy. There should have been more distinction between the Darknuts than just the color of their armor. They should have had different moves and capabilites.

I thought that the WW Darknuts were pretty cool. Although, the TP ones were pretty cool too.
