Could Nintendo change the series?

Hmmmm...I dunno. I don't really like the image of Flying ships, but that is just me and my opinion. It could work, though.

Personally, if there's going to be tech, why not have it be Magitek? Be a fusion between the magic which we know exists and technology?

That's just me, though.

In my opinion, anything too technologically advanced at this point in the series is asking too much. I mean, we just got the train in ST! And it hasn't even come out yet! So no flying ships for now.

...Anything to far advanced...we'll get through to you at one point.

I still say that a sci-fi game could be good...

I see, but I don't want anything too technologically advanced. I mean, ALttP is 1000 years after OoT, that's already a waaaay to big jump. What next, Link on a motorcycle? I think the idea of a train is good. Airships? Maybe, but anything beyond is unnessesary.

Well, even if we did get to guns in the game at one point, it shouldn't happen quite yet, because the train has just been invented, and technology should progress at a steady rate. Just what I think. Because jumping from train to gun in one game is a bit of a stretch, in my opinion.

Flying ships is more like Final Fantasy.

It could be a stretch, but a game in the future, maybe, could help us anchor a timeline.

We get a game in the future, then the...rest of the games would turn into prologues...bearing in mind the Star Wars prequals, that's a seriously bad idea.

I thought that some of the FF games were ok, not that good, but not that bad, except for FF8 I loath that one in every fiber of my soul.

Maybe, but I think we have enough branches as it is (TWW and TP at the moment). It could also just work it's way up, and it would be fine, in my opinion.

Well, I've never played FF, but I don't like the image either.

As for a motorbike, I'd just rather not think about it at the moment.

Well, on the issue of Hyrule advancing in technology, we could just go farther back into the past, before OoT and stuff. Learn more about earlier Hyrule, the Master Sword, and . That would probably give us a lot of information about a lot of things.

An image of Link in a huge winter coat trudging through the snow just popped into my mind. That's funny, Link stuck in the Ice Age. But I don't think the creators would ever bring it back to the ice age, XD . Just maybe 50, 100, 200, 300 (?) years before OoT would be fine.
