Hardest Zelda Dungeon?

The OoT Water Temple wasn't hard for me, it was just frustrating because I had to keep changing the water level multiple times.

The 3d games have nothing on the 2d ones. They are maddening when you first get to them, but in games like LoZ, you can memorize the entire layout of a dungeon, but have hell getting through it.

The hardest temple in Oot was the Water Temple for me. It took so long for me to beat mainly becasue I didn't know there was a hole.

Now that I look at it, the water temples in both Oot and MM are pretty hard. But MM is definetely harder.

I didn't think the Water Temple was that hard. Of course, I looked at the guide once or twice, or five times, but it was only mildly frustrating. Actually, I take that back, I was running around for fifteen minutes trying to find a certain room. But I think that Stone Tower was pretty hard.

For me it was the ice palace in ALttP. Took me ages to get through. >_<

After that, Turtle Rock in again, ALttP. Hey, ALttP is the hardest Zelda game for me so far.

I'd really say Tower of Ganon in ALttP again, but I have never finished it, so I can't say exactly how hard it is. xP

Indeed. I hate the ice dudes that attack you in the Ice Palace, and the part in Turtle Rock, where you have to light torches while riding the blocky thingy.

The hardest dungeon for me was the Eagle's Tower in Link's Awakening.
It took me forever to figure out how to knock down all the pillars.

OoT Water Temple.

I just beat it yesterday, after being stuck in there for six years, because my N64 stopped working, then decided to work again last night.

Spirit Temple was easy though.

Every single dungeon I walked into in A Link To The Past.. If I'm not wandering around lost, enemies are ransacking me.

Nothing like enjoying a game you're terrible at..

The Water Temple in Ocarina of Time. I just finish replaying it. Usually, each temple is somewhat challenging the first time, but other times it's pretty easy. The Water Temple is tough even if you do it multiple times. I kept running into dead end after dead end after dead end, and I remembered about the key underneath the platform I'll never forget that, as the first 3 or 4 times I played the Water Temple I always forgot it. I kept getting stuck on other things. Plus, with the changing water levels, you gotta plan a few steps ahead. It got to the point where I would forget why exactly I needed the water at whatever level even though I had devoted the last 10 minutes to getting the water to that level. Dark Link is real hard too, unless you have the Big Goron sword.

Everyone keeps saying OoT's Water Temple, but if you take away that one key hidden under the movable block in the middle and the frustrating concept of changing the water level, it's not as hard as the Shadow Temple.

But out of all the LoZ temples, the freaking last two dungeons in Link's Awakening were hard. The 7th was the tower (I cant remember the exact name) where you had to carry around the ball around the floor to knock over the pillars. That was a pain. Then who could forget Turtle Rock? Like most LoZ games with 8 dungeons, this was obviously huge. It had every mini-boss from the last 7 dungeons and the hidden room with the switch was a pain to find. If Turtle Rock had a harder boss, I think it would have easily taken the throne of hardest temple, but I dunno, it's much harder than most LoZ temples in my opinion...

Oh dear, um.... um.... I'll just post the hardest dungeon per game for me.

OoT : Shadow Temple, reason? The music!!! But then again I was 8 at the time, after I got over it nothing could stop me, even in MQ I steamrolled my way through.

MM : Great Bay Temple, reason? It took me forever to realize that I was to follow the pipes at some points and to ignore them at others.

MC : Sky Dungeon(forgot its name), reason? The boss, no puzzle stopped me long enough for me to consider them.

FSA : ??? I forgot lol

WW : Nothing here stopped me.

TP : CitS, reason? I got lost... =P

ALttP : ??? Can't remember this one either.

LA : ??? Again, sadly, I can't remember.

OoX : Nothing fazed me.

FS + PH + LoZ + AoL : Have not played yet/will most likely not get a chance to play for a very long time (in the case of FS most likely never).

OoT: Water Temple (just because I was confused out of my mind)

MC: Sky Dungeon (I love the item that you get here, but the boss is a bit challenging)

TP: Ganon's Tower (all the other dungeons were too easy)

That's basically my answer too. I remember this one part where you have to jump out of a whirlpool and land on a platform or something like that. Hated it... Also the boss there is annoying

None of the temples in Zelda are really all that hard, but the water temple is by far the most frustrating.

for my hardest dungeon was snowpeak ruins and easiest was temple of time and there both from TP

That'd be the Palace of Winds. :3

The Water Temple in OoT is by far the hardest temple I've ever played, it took me 3 hours!!.....stupid key. Everything else was like a walk in the park.
