Zelda is awesome, guys.

Just a little reminder. Sometimes I think it's easy to forget we're on a Zelda site paying homage to Zelda because it's a series we all love. We argue about TP and all the things wrong about it and we talk about how old and boring OoT is now, and how Zelda is stale and no good, but don't forget that we love these games! Zelda is awesome, I think every one of us is here because we agree on that.

So, in order to promote good old Zelda awesomeness - what do you love most about the Legend of Zelda games?

I love the Adventure... Just seems kinda big compared to other games that are linear.

It seems magical and mature yet fun and child like.

• Yep the adventure
• The mix of puzzles and combat
• The courage and honour all Link’s share
• The very confusing timeline and overly thought about solutions
• The fun side quests
• The excellent storyline (which is impressive since it’s mostly just save the princess)
• The whole lore that has been created in the games
• Epona and KotRL (for the 3d games)
• The way it makes you feel you need to try and complete everything or you’re missing out
• and everything else in Zelda

The epicness, the nostalgia, the dungeons, the characaters, the emotion, the varying themes, the overworlds, the universe, the music, the gameplay, and the storylines. Oh, and the timeline order debates, and the theories that it produces.

The deep history and lore that exists within the Zelda universe. Zelda is truly a legend. The adventure and fun gameplay helps too.

The dungeons, adventure, music, characters, stories...

Basically everything.

I like that its not one of those dumb half an hour shooter campaigns....

I like everything about Zelda really. Evey element is a good one.

Murdering wildlife is fun. The series shines when looked at as a series not individuals.

I love the adventurous feel of the game, the music, the characters, the story, the gameplay...
It's like a perfect series to me.

Oot is NOT old and boring

I'm not sure if it's the little things, or Zelda as a whole, or if it's only a few games, or all of them together, but I love Zelda.

I love the mixture of puzzles and fighting.
I love the combat system on the 3d games.
I love the atmosphere.
I love the music.
I love the epicness of the storyline.

I like pretty much everything about the Zelda games.
People need to remember that even the "bad" Zelda games are still very good and are much better than many other video games.

Overall, The zelda series is remarkable in every aspect.

Definetely. I think that's the biggest thing I love about Legend of Zelda.
Plus my answer is like everyone else's, so i'm just going to say, all of the above.

The soundtrack is breathtaking.
The fact that all the games have some sort of switch between the world you traverse.
The genius designs of the dungeons.
The graphics (they aren't next-gen but they have such detail).
The fact that the adventure engages you for hours and hours.
That there is so much more to do after the credits.
Virtually everything.
