Re: Favorite dungeon
I like how in the spirit temple you do one part as a kid and the other part as an adult.. And I like Great Bay Temple or the Stone Tower Temple in MM.

Re: Favorite dungeon
Spirit Temple was awesome. OoT's Forest Temple was awesome too. Though almost 99% of the time I hate the fire related dungeons. =/ And you listed lots of fire levels.

Re: Favorite dungeon
Any dungeon that anything to do with fire, because there might be Gorons. <3 Goron. :3
Another reason I like the fire dungeons is that they seem to be a bit tougher then the others. I think that since ALTTP, the games are getting easier and easeir. More toughness makes me happy.

Arbiter's Grounds ftw! It was just so fun to do, plus it had the Spinner and Stallord, my favorite Zelda item and boss. :3

Re: Favorite dungeon
Generally I don't really like dungeons, at least not in the 2D games due to lack of thematics. I mean, all the dungeons in LoZ looks the same except they have different colours.
What makes a dungeon good? I have two important criteria, theme and over all connection. Theme is really important to create a nice feeling so you can enjoy walking around in the environment. With "over all connection" i mean that the temple should be a big puzzle itself, not just a building with a lot of rooms with separate puzzles. There are many examples: In TP water temple you must control the flooding of the whole temple and change it depending on which areas you want to reach. So the definition is that all rooms are somehow connected. Things you do in one room affect other rooms. --------------- OoT: I must say I like the concept of Water Temple. I actually wish the whole temple were affected by different water levels, not just the middle room. That would create a lot of depth and increase the "over all connection" rate. What I don't like with the water temple is its unnecessary enemies in certain chambers, like the one in the middle. That room should remain peaceful. Sometimes they destroy a nice feeling by adding two or just one single enemy somewhere. The enemy isn't difficult at all, still extremely irritating. Enemies should come in a bunch, making it a challenging combat, otherwise there is no point. Majoras Mask: Certainly not the woodfall or snowhead temple. Great Bay is very creative with all the pipes and wheels, and so is Stone Head with its up-side-down condition. Twilight Princess has the best dungeons, mostly because they are so darn thematic. The forest temple really gives you the feeling of being inside a tree. The lake bed temple has this beautiful lagoon room that I love, and Goron mines really looks like some sort of mine with all those metal bridges, pipes and machines. Arbiters Grounds gives a perfect "Ancient Egyptian Temple"-feeling, the Snow house also has a very thematic environment. Finally we have Huryle castle and Temple of Time with their enormous majestic chambers. My favourites are Temple of Time and Forest Temple. I really hate Twilight Palace and Sky City, I haven't anything good to say about them.

Re: Favorite dungeon
Hmmm.
Forest Temple, because its so haunting and beautiful. I love the blend of a forgotten castle and trees, and the music is so absorbing. The Poe Sisters were cool too! Spirit Temple because lets face it, the Goddess of the Sand is oen of the greatest views in any Zelda game, and the music is amazing. I love the mix of Egyptian, Middle Eastern and Indian themes. And Nabs of course. Mermaid's Cave is another favorite, because again it has another pretty haunting theme, and I love mermaids. I also really like the colour scheme in the dungeon, as well as the watery feel of it! I also like how its a water version of the Spirit Temple (in that you switch through time to solve it.) Other notable mentions are the Angler's Tunnel and the Water Temple, (I like all the water dungeons). Others i like that but are not favorites = Jabu Jabu's Belly (its just so gruesomely cool), Face Shrine (spooky and mysterious), Explorer's Crypt (eerie and sinister), Shadow Temple (ditto) Ancient Tomb (double ditto) Moonlit Grotto (just like it somehow) and the Forbidden Woods (just love the plantness.)
